00:00I find this first game we're going to talk about interesting because the Ravens are usually amazing in the preseason.
00:05You know, they usually win and they usually cover.
00:07And I don't recall them getting this many points in a preseason game in a while.
00:11Maybe I'm missing something here.
00:12But the Colts are five and a half point favorites.
00:14And I suppose maybe the reason why is we get to see, you know, sort of their two starting quarterbacks.
00:19But, you know, I don't know, Matt, that two even equals one in this case.
00:22But that's the deal tonight.
00:23Colts minus five and a half against the Ravens.
00:25Yeah, I mean, that's the old saying, right?
00:27If you have two, you have none.
00:28And we know the Colts plan, what they're going to do with Richardson and Jones.
00:33And I guess the oddsmakers look at that and say, well, that's two starters per se that are going to play three-fourths of the game or at least half the game.
00:41So, therefore, that gives them the edge.
00:43And I suppose there's logic to that.
00:45But I think, you know, given the other various limitations of that team and maybe of those specific quarterbacks, I don't know if I'd go that far.
00:52Because, like you said, the Ravens do – I mean, it is documented.
00:56It is a thing.
00:57I think they prepare well for preseason games.
01:00I think whether it's the, you know, starters just playing a series or the backup, second, third strings playing, you know, the vast majority of the game, I think they prepare well and they do play well.
01:10So, yeah, that's a curious line to say the least.
01:13And like I said, I think it's basically predicated on these, quote, unquote, two starters quarterbacks playing for the Colts.
01:19But I'm not even sure what that means at this point.
01:22Richardson is the favorite to be the starter on FanDuel.
01:25He's minus 350.
01:26And Daniel Jones is plus 255.
01:29And if all doesn't go well for both, maybe week 16 we see Riley Leonard.
01:34I mean, who knows?
01:35He's 80-1.
01:37I mean, I don't know.
01:39I could see this going the other way.
01:40Matt, I'm not completely convinced that Jones can't win the job.
01:44No, I'm not at all either.
01:45I mean, especially I think when you look at Richardson's injury history, that has to be factored into where could that play into thing if he gets a little dinged and that allows Jones to sort of pass him.
01:56But, no, absolutely.
01:57I mean, I think based on what they told us their plan is for these first two games alternating the quarterbacks, I think that tells us it's wide open.
02:04Whereas I think most pundits looked at it and said, well, Richardson, you know, is definitely the clear favorite, and it would take him playing really poorly or Jones playing really well to pass him.
