YTL Corp’s telco unit YTL Communications believes operators should not impose additional charges on subscribers who wish to switch or upgrade to 5G.

00:26 They are full of perils amongst all the plans in the market. Let me break that down for you.

00:30 You have this one telco that says that we give you a hard quota.

00:35 The moment that you exceeded the hard quota, you'll be throttled to very low speed.

00:40 Another telco would say that we'll give you unlimited as well,

00:45 but only on weekends.

00:48 So what you're gonna do during the week? That's when you work, right? Isn't that when you need 5G the most?

00:55 Then we have a special one.

00:57 The special one says that we will also give you unlimited 5G,
