01:24 This bag repair shop was founded by Mr. Cheong, who was initially a contractor
01:29 but lost his job during the country's economic crisis, then found his passion for repairing bags.
01:34 After Mr. Cheong passed away last year, his children have now taken over the business.

01:47 This knife sharpening business has been around for almost 30 years.
01:51 Moda Yap, the owner, says he used to rent a makeshift shop located on the second floor of a shop house along Jalan Pasar Baru.
01:59 He sharpens and polishes them at home and brings them back to his customers at said time and day.

02:06 Located along Jalan Brunei Selatan, WS Printing offers traditional printing services for items such as billbooks, calendars, and more.
02:14 The current owner, Ms Yap, inherited the business from her father after he passed away.

02:23 What makes this printing shop unique from the rest is their GTO printing machine.
02:28 According to Yap, this machine has been in the shop since it was opened by her father 30 years ago.
02:34 This model has been discontinued in the market, leaving WS Printing the only few that still uses it.
