00:03 - Dabo's having not really just a tough week,
00:05 tough couple of weeks, tough,
00:06 definitely a tough year.
00:07 Clemson stinks.
00:09 He got into it, I think,
00:10 I'm sure at the Scotty play yesterday,
00:12 him getting into it with the radio guy.
00:14 So that was on Monday.
00:17 So here he is yesterday,
00:19 talking about how long a year it's been,
00:21 and then was being offered to apologize, I guess,
00:25 for that incident, but wasn't really willing to do that.
00:27 Here's Dabo.
00:29 - We're having a bad year.
00:31 That's my responsibility.
00:33 - Sure are.
00:34 - Ain't nobody happy about it.
00:35 That's my responsibility.
00:36 That's on me, 100%.
00:38 And I ain't asking nobody to be happy, you know,
00:41 but let's don't eat our own.
00:43 And that's what we've done.
00:44 Even what's happened around here is,
00:47 even when we've won, everybody's miserable.
00:52 And that's sad.
00:56 It's really sad.
00:58 And so I'm thankful for the struggle.
01:01 I'm thankful for the opportunity to teach
01:03 in a way that I haven't had a chance to teach
01:05 in a long time.
01:06 So sit back and just enjoy the journey.
01:11 That's what I'd tell you.
01:12 - So with that measured perspective,
01:14 I think there are many people wondering
01:16 what triggered last night a great deal of emotion for you?
01:19 - Well, I mean, I had some idiot go Old Testament on me,
01:23 and he got an Old Testament response.
01:27 (laughing)
01:29 - All right, Joe, look, you said something
01:31 while he was talking to me.
01:32 Like, does he have one foot out the door?
01:35 Like, your boy, he went Old Testament.
01:39 He got an Old Testament response.
01:41 Dabo's, he's having a real strange year
01:45 there at Clemson, very strange.
01:48 Doesn't have a quarterback for the first time in a while,
01:50 and that's hurting him as well.
01:51 (upbeat music)
01:54 (bells chiming)
