00:34 Welcome to Hollister Hills Off-Road Park in Hollister Hills, California
00:40 for the 19th annual Running Up Top Truck Challenge.
00:43 I'm Stan Pruitt, former competitor, judge, and your host for this year's Top Truck Challenge.
00:48 19 years ago, 4-Wheeler Magazine created Top Truck Challenge to test the engineering and performance capability of off-road rigs
00:55 with seven incredible off-road venues that are designed to stop the competitors in their tracks.
01:00 Each team will have to conquer water, mud, rocks, hills, and steep grades in their quest to capture the coveted champion's trophy.
01:10 Along the way, they will encounter broken axles, steering issues, broken winches, engine failure, and just about every other problem you can imagine.
01:21 What makes Top Truck Challenge unique is that the readers of 4-Wheeler Magazine vote each team into the event.
01:27 Out of the hundreds of entries received, just 10 competitors are selected in two different classes.
01:33 Five trucks and five buggies make the final list. Here's our lineup.

02:54 In addition to that, they're carrying seatbelt cutters, fire extinguishers, and they have EMTs standing by.
