Your sports forecast for the final Saturday of September

If you're wondering how the weather will affect this weekend's biggest sports matchups, AccuWeather's Geoff Cornish has the forecast for you.

00:00 The heat will be on for college football this weekend in Texas, and you'll have to deal with the rain for baseball games in the Midwest.

00:07 Jeff Cornish has the details in tonight's Field Conditions.

00:10 We've got some big games to talk about for our Field Conditions Report and some unusual things going on.

00:16 For example, we're going to take you to a 10 a.m. local time kickoff in Colorado here.

00:21 It's a noon game Eastern, and a lot of the time the East Coast drives a lot of the TV schedules, so that puts you at 10 a.m. for kickoff.

00:29 So an early tailgate start there in Boulder, 68 for kickoff and rising rapidly throughout the course of the game.

00:34 Kansas, Texas, here we have a hot one in Austin, 94 degrees.

00:38 AccuWeather, Real Field Temperature, 101. That's a hot one. Very, very steamy there in the Lone Star State.

00:44 We've had spectacular weather all week long, at least since around Tuesday into Raleigh-Durham.

00:49 And in Durham this Saturday evening, just gorgeous weather. The sun will be setting during the game.

00:53 Sunshine, 72 for kickoff, falling through the 60s.

00:55 And we actually have some rain, or at least rain showers. It may not be heavy, but it is rain nonetheless.

01:00 Some scattered showers around Anaheim on Saturday evening for an AL West matchup.

01:06 There's a couple of hurdles there weather-wise where you may not fully expect them this early in what will become the wet season.

01:12 And we have sunshine in Chicago looking good there for that interleague matchup late in the season.
