00:02 - Let's start with the Eagles and Tampa here tonight.
00:06 It feels like Tampa getting a little bit of love
00:09 all week long.
00:10 Are we starting to see some buyback here on Philadelphia?
00:13 - Well, we probably should at some point.
00:17 The Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
00:18 obviously we know that they got some hand signals
00:20 to assist them in week one.
00:23 They had some assists there when Baker Mayfield
00:25 started to realize what the Vikings were doing.
00:28 It's at that point that they started to
00:30 outperform the Vikings.
00:31 The Vikings should have had a couple more scores
00:33 in that game.
00:34 The Vikings are 0-3.
00:36 So take that for what it's worth.
00:38 And then last week, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers,
00:40 you know, they were nip and tuck for a little while there
00:42 with the Chicago Bears who just got destroyed just yesterday.
00:46 So we're talking about this Tampa Bay team.
00:48 Oh yes, congratulations, Baker, 2-0.
00:50 Obviously this is great for the city of Tampa.
00:53 I'm sure they feel a lot better being 2-0 than 0-2,
00:56 but they are winning against teams that are combined
01:00 0-6 on the season.
01:02 And they had help in that Vikings game as well.
01:05 So a much bigger challenge with the Philadelphia Eagles.
01:08 My concern with the Eagles though,
01:09 is just their passing attack and their previous struggles
01:12 with this Todd Bowles Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
01:16 Talked about it a little bit last night with you,
01:17 but the Eagles offense has struggled,
01:20 even when they were a little bit better
01:21 against this Tampa Bay Buccaneers defense.
01:24 They have plans of attack to stop Jalen Hurts
01:27 from having too much success on the ground.
01:30 And then the other element here is this,
01:32 this Eagles passing attack
01:33 with their new offensive coordinator,
01:34 just not clicking right now, just not in sync.
01:37 Eventually I presume it will get there.
01:39 They played last Thursday, so they have plenty of time,
01:41 like even more than a mini buy to get ready for this game.
01:45 If they can't bring it now
01:46 and figure out how to slow down Baker,
01:49 I'm not sure where they go from here.
01:50 They're still very banged up.
01:52 That's why a lot of people are taking
01:53 the Tampa Bay Buccaneers early.
01:55 The one bet that I like here is Rashard White's
01:57 longest rushing attempt to go under,
01:59 because I think that he's just gonna struggle
02:02 a little bit behind this line
02:03 in those big boys that the Philadelphia Eagles have up front.
02:06 - Are you, can Baker, are we missing some with Baker?
02:10 Can he continue to be as efficient as he is
02:12 on third down first?
02:14 'Cause those numbers are staggering,
02:16 but also under pressure.
02:18 He's under pressure these couple of games,
02:20 a staggering amount, and he's still delivering.
02:23 I mean, is this sustainable?
02:25 - Well, you would think that it's not,
02:28 but he is working with a new offensive coordinator,
02:30 and we've seen Baker with Stefanski,
02:33 and then briefly with Sean McVay
02:35 with a bunch of backups there in LA.
02:37 You know, his time with Stefanski,
02:39 there was a year or two where Stefanski
02:41 was really tailoring the game plan to Baker's strengths,
02:43 and he was having a lot more success
02:45 than towards later on,
02:47 and I thought there were some things
02:48 that Stefanski was doing from a coaching perspective
02:51 that really weren't applying
02:52 to the strengths of Baker Mayfield.
02:54 I really like what they're doing now in Tampa
02:57 and trying to play to his strengths,
02:59 get the ball out quickly,
03:01 but under pressure, you're right.
03:02 I mean, he is the best quarterback
03:04 through the first three weeks
03:05 of EPA per attempt under pressure.
03:07 The worst is also in the state of Florida,
03:09 and it's quite concerning.
03:10 I'm sure we'll talk about that at some point on Thursday,
03:13 which is Trevor Lawrence,
03:14 who is struggling massively when under pressure.
03:16 Baker Mayfield thus far through two starts,
03:19 the number one quarterback under pressure.
