00:00 The Police Service Social and Welfare Association is taking matters into its own hands to help
00:07 provide housing for police officers.
00:10 Wabi is very pleased to engage with Blue Legacy Investment Corporation Limited, which is a
00:20 company incorporated by the Police Service and Welfare Association to facilitate the
00:25 provision of 136 much needed houses.

00:38 the heads of officers and their families.
00:41 Apart from saying thanks for taking that leap of faith with us, we want to say that you
00:47 have done what others might only dream or think of doing, and that is to support your
00:53 law enforcement.
00:55 The agreement between Blue Legacy and Wabi Investments was signed at a launch event on
01:01 Monday.
01:02 It's a big step for Blue Legacy Investment Corporation, and it is a big step for the
01:08 Trinidad and Tobago Police Service Social and Welfare Association.
01:12 And we would venture to say that it is a giant leap for people-based organizations.
01:21 The Police Service Social and Welfare Association says this all came about after it reached
01:27 out to its members.
01:29 We set out on a data collection drive to hear from the members themselves, what is of paramount
01:35 importance to you?
01:38 And amongst the top items, if not the top, was that need for housing.
