00:24 As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuhu
00:31 Bismillah Ar-Rahman Ar-Rahim
00:34 Ya ayyuhal ladheena aamanu lima taqooluna ma la tafa'aloon
00:38 Kabura maqtani 'inda Allahi an taqoolu ma la tafa'aloon
00:42 Subhana Rabbika Rabbil 'Izzati 'amma yasifoon
00:45 Wa salaamun 'ala al-mursaleena wa alhamdulillahi Rabbil 'aalameen
00:48 Allahumma salli 'ala Sayyidina wa Nabiyina Muhammad
00:51 wa 'ala aali Sayyidina wa Habibina Muhammad wa barik wa sallim
00:55 When a person enters Islam, there is an expectation.
01:02 The expectation is that his outward and inward are the same.
01:07 His outward and inward are the same.
01:10 There can be two types of differences between outward and inward.
01:15 One is that his outward is exactly like a Muslim.
01:19 His outward, his actions, his prayers, his speech are exactly like a Muslim.
01:27 But there is disbelief in his heart.
01:30 He has disbelief. He does not have faith.
01:33 He is acting as if he is a Muslim.
01:36 This is very dangerous.
01:38 This is called 'Nifaq fil Aqeedah'.
01:41 This is hypocrisy.
01:43 He is a hypocrite.
01:45 But his belief is bad.
01:48 His outward is like a Muslim but he is not a Muslim.
01:52 There is another type of hypocrisy.
01:54 There is another type of hypocrisy.
01:56 There is another type of difference between outward and inward.
02:00 That there is faith in a person's heart.
02:03 He believes in Allah, the Prophet, the Messengers, the Day of Judgment
02:08 and all the tenets of faith.
02:10 He has faith in all of them but his outward is not according to him.
02:15 His outward is not according to his faith.
02:20 The Prophet (PBUH) has explained this in a Hadith Mubarakah.
02:25 In a Hadith Mubarakah, three things are mentioned.
02:28 In a Hadith Mubarakah, four things are mentioned.
02:31 That there is faith in a person's heart but if there are three things in his outward,
02:38 in a Hadith Mubarakah, listen to the verse of 'Al Munafiq Salah'.
02:41 That there are three signs of hypocrisy.
02:44 Number one, 'Iza Haddasa Qaza Baad'.
02:46 When he speaks, he speaks a lie.
02:48 That means he has faith in his heart.
02:50 He has faith in Allah, he has faith in the Day of Judgment.
02:53 He knows that he has to stand on the Day of Judgment.
02:55 But how is it possible that he is speaking a lie?
02:59 'Wa Iza Wa'ada Akhlafa'.
03:02 When he promises, he promises against it.
03:05 He promises that he will do this.
03:07 Tomorrow I will come to you at 10 o'clock.
03:10 But tomorrow it is 10 o'clock and this person does not come.
03:13 One thing is that there is a helplessness, a problem.
03:17 So you tell the other person that I will not be able to come.
03:20 I am stuck somewhere, I have a problem, I am helpless.
03:25 Then it is fine but he promises and he promises against it.
03:29 He promises that I will return your loan on 1st August.
03:35 I will return your loan but 1st August comes and this person is not there.
03:39 So he promises against it.
03:40 Prophet (PBUH) is saying that this person is a hypocrite.
03:43 He is a hypocrite.
03:45 He has faith in his heart but his outward is not according to that faith.
03:50 A Muslim cannot lie nor can he promise against it.
03:54 And thirdly, 'Wa Iza Atumina Khana'.
03:57 When he is entrusted with a trust, he does treachery.
04:00 He is a dishonest person.
04:03 And the second hadith is blessed, which mentions four things.
04:06 Three of them are the same. Fourthly, 'Wa Iza Khawthama Fajara'.
04:11 When he has a fight with someone, he uses abusive language.
04:17 He uses bad words.
04:20 So Prophet (PBUH) is saying that a person with faith cannot do these four things.
04:27 He cannot lie, nor can he promise against it.
04:30 Nor can he do treachery in his trust.
04:33 Nor can he have a difference of opinion with someone.
04:36 He cannot fight with someone.
04:38 Sometimes it happens that a person goes into an argument.
04:42 So a Muslim cannot use abusive language.
04:46 He cannot.
04:48 I want to highlight one of these four topics more.
04:53 And that is treachery in trust.
04:55 Being dishonest.
04:56 A Muslim cannot be dishonest.
04:59 And dishonesty happens in many ways.
05:02 For example, Prophet (PBUH) said,
05:06 'Al Majalisu bil Amanah'
05:09 That gatherings are also honest and trustworthy.
05:14 They are with trust as well.
05:16 For example, you and I are sitting in a gathering.
05:21 And I tell you something private.
05:25 Someone wants a consultation from you.
05:27 But it is a personal matter between you and me.
05:30 And I tell you,
05:33 'Look, I want to share something with you.
05:37 Please don't tell anyone.
05:39 I want to consult you.'
05:41 When I say, 'I want to share something with you.
05:45 Please don't tell anyone.
05:47 This is a trust you have.'
05:49 And now it becomes your duty not to be dishonest in this trust.
05:54 What is our condition?
05:56 Our condition is that people share some things with us.
06:00 And they are confidential.
06:02 And we tell others.
06:04 And we tell them, 'Look, I am just telling you.
06:07 Please don't tell anyone.'
06:09 Someone told me this.
06:11 He told him.
06:13 Now that other person will also go to someone and say,
06:16 'Look, I am just telling you. Please don't tell anyone.'
06:19 Before that matter comes under control,
06:22 the whole town, the neighborhood, the city, the people get to know about it.
06:28 So, this is dishonesty in the trust.
06:32 This is hypocrisy.
06:34 This is hypocrisy.
06:36 This is not the perfection of faith.
06:38 This is a very dangerous thing.
06:40 This creates so many social ills.
06:42 All these things that our religion tells us,
06:46 that the Prophet (PBUH) told us,
06:48 that is in the Quran,
06:50 that these are for the good of the society.
06:53 That is why our religion is the religion of nature.
06:56 That the nature in which Allah has created us,
06:59 the commandments of the religion,
07:01 exactly, they have come for our benefit.
07:04 So, dishonesty is with the trust.
07:07 Yes, there are some things,
07:09 like this gathering,
07:11 I am talking to you,
07:13 or if some students were in front of me,
07:15 I would have talked to them.
07:17 I would have said, I want you to tell people about this.
07:20 You propagate this further,
07:22 you broadcast it further,
07:24 tell people, I want this.
07:26 So, this is not the trust.
07:28 The trust is where the confidentiality,
07:32 with a lot of clarity,
07:35 or with a hint, you tell.
07:37 Like the Prophet (PBUH) said,
07:40 that if a person looks here and there before speaking,
07:43 no one is looking, no one is listening.
07:46 So, he has not said not to tell anyone,
07:49 but his gestures are telling that he does not want anyone to listen.
07:53 So, this is also a trust.
07:55 So, please, take care of the trusts.
07:59 The gatherings are with the trust.
08:02 In the same way,
08:04 everything has a trust.
08:06 You gave me something,
08:08 temporarily,
08:10 you said that you use it,
08:12 temporarily,
08:14 but this is my trust with you.
08:16 Now, it is my duty to protect it.
08:20 For example, you are going on a travel,
08:22 you gave me your car,
08:24 you keep driving it,
08:26 so that its battery does not get down,
08:28 so that it does not get rust,
08:30 so you keep driving.
08:32 Now, that car is your trust with me.
08:35 I take care of it,
08:37 like I take care of my own car.
08:39 People do not care at all in this matter.
08:42 People give things to others,
08:44 and they do not consider it a trust.
08:48 Someone has kept money with someone,
08:50 he has a trust.
08:51 When he will demand it,
08:53 it is our duty to return it.
08:55 People take it,
08:57 people keep it with them.
08:59 Please, think about it,
09:01 that it is against the religion
09:04 that we take care of people's trusts.
09:07 In business,
09:09 how many people do dishonesty?
09:13 Many.
09:15 Prophet (PBUH) once went to the market,
09:19 and he was looking at the condition of people.
09:21 There was a person who was selling grains.
09:25 Prophet (PBUH) asked,
09:27 "How are you selling?"
09:29 Whatever conversation happened,
09:31 Allah revealed that
09:35 the heap of grains,
09:39 put your hand inside it and see.
09:42 Prophet (PBUH) put his hand inside the heap,
09:46 and saw that it was damp inside.
09:48 It was wet inside.
09:50 Outside, it was dry and fine.
09:54 Prophet (PBUH) was very angry with him,
09:58 that he was deceiving people.
10:00 He was doing things that were fine,
10:03 but inside it was damp.
10:05 Prophet (PBUH) said,
10:07 "Laysa minna man ghasha"
10:09 "Whoever deceives people,
10:13 he is not ours."
10:15 He does not belong to the Muslim list.
10:18 He is not ours.
10:20 He is not ours.
10:22 What a dangerous warning.
10:24 What a dangerous warning.
10:26 Prophet (PBUH) was disowning him.
10:29 He said, "You are deceiving people."
10:31 This was a trust.
10:33 You are doing treachery.
10:35 "Man ghasha fa laysa minna"
10:37 This is a very strong warning.
10:39 The person who deceives people,
10:42 Prophet (PBUH) is disowning him.
10:46 Scholars have talked about this a lot.
10:48 What does it mean, "Laysa minna"
10:50 that he is not ours.
10:52 But, to any extent,
10:54 this is a very strong warning.
10:56 Maazallah, Allah is protecting us.
10:58 But on the Day of Judgment,
11:00 everyone expects the intercession
11:02 from Prophet (PBUH)
11:04 People will be thirsty.
11:06 Prophet (PBUH) will give water to everyone
11:10 with his special water.
11:12 If a person comes who has
11:14 done treachery in the trust,
11:16 and Prophet (PBUH) says,
11:18 "You are not ours."
11:20 Then what will become of this person?
11:22 So, please, think about the trusts.
11:26 Don't deceive people.
11:30 And if a merchant, a businessman,
11:34 a merchant, speaks the truth,
11:38 and does not betray the trust,
11:40 there is good news for him.
11:42 Prophet (PBUH) said,
11:44 "At-taajiru s-suduqu al-'ameen
11:46 ma'an nabiyyeen wa s-siddiqeen wa shuhadaan"
11:50 That a merchant who speaks the truth,
11:53 a trustworthy merchant,
11:56 does not betray the trust,
11:58 on the Day of Judgment,
12:00 he will be interceded with the Prophets,
12:03 the truthful, and the martyrs.
12:06 Allahu Akbar.
12:08 Now, this person is a merchant,
12:10 a businessman, right?
12:12 He is earning money.
12:14 But what is good about him?
12:16 He speaks the truth to people,
12:18 he does not lie to them.
12:20 Secondly, he does not deceive people.
12:23 He presents the truth as it is.
12:26 Unfortunately, we are,
12:28 as our marketing is,
12:30 Allah is protecting us,
12:32 but we are lying to people.
12:34 You cannot find anything better than this.
12:37 Even he knows that there are better things in the market.
12:41 But he is lying.
12:43 And he does not present the truth as it is.
12:47 So, this is deceit.
12:49 If a person speaks the truth,
12:51 if a person does not betray the trust,
12:54 on the Day of Judgment,
12:56 Allah is making this merchant,
12:58 who is earning money,
13:00 and is doing his duties,
13:02 he is offering five times prayer,
13:04 he is fasting in Ramadan,
13:06 but he is speaking the truth in business,
13:08 he is not betraying the trust,
13:10 on the Day of Judgment,
13:12 he will be interceded with the Prophets,
13:14 the truthful,
13:16 and the truthful will be interceded with.
13:18 Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) said in another Hadith,
13:24 it is a true Hadith of a true Muslim,
13:27 He said,
13:28 "If I appoint you to a position,
13:31 that is,
13:33 I give you an authoritative position,
13:40 in other words,
13:42 if I appoint you to a status,
13:46 "If he hides even a needle,
13:57 that is, he has authority,
14:00 he has a treasure,
14:02 which he is in charge of,
14:04 of the house of wealth,
14:06 he has authority,
14:08 if he hides even a needle,
14:11 or even a smaller thing,
14:14 this is a betrayal,
14:16 this is treachery,
14:18 and on the Day of Judgment,
14:20 he will have to be presented with that thing."
14:23 Allahu Akbar!
14:24 Even a needle,
14:26 even a smaller thing,
14:29 if we understand this,
14:31 will corruption not end?
14:34 Will betrayal not end?
14:37 Will people not start getting their rights?
14:40 Will no land be taken?
14:42 Will no one betray anyone?
14:44 Will no one think ill of anyone?
14:47 That I have to stand on the Day of Judgment,
14:49 and I have to account for everything?
14:52 So please,
14:53 we should care for people,
14:55 think good for people,
14:57 the trust that we have,
14:59 the work is also a trust,
15:01 those people who are doing any kind of work,
15:04 they are a trust on them.
15:06 Please,
15:07 take care of the trusts,
15:09 think good for people,
15:11 and return them back,
15:14 otherwise,
15:15 this is treachery,
15:16 and on the Day of Judgment,
15:17 man will have to account for all these things.
15:20 So, InshAllah,
15:21 we will take a short break,
15:23 and after the break,
15:24 we will come back again with your questions.
15:26 You can keep emailing your questions,
15:28 at Deen-e-Fitrat@arydigital.tv
15:31 This email address is also visible on your screen.
15:34 So please,
15:35 send your questions in your email,
15:37 and InshAllah,
15:38 we will be back with your next episodes,
15:40 and we will answer your questions.
15:43 See you after the break.
15:45 Assalamu Alaikum Warahmatullahi Wabarakatuhu
15:47 Welcome back.
15:48 We are here with your questions,
15:50 you can email your questions,
15:52 at Deen-e-Fitrat@arydigital.tv
15:56 People ask questions,
15:58 that,
15:59 we talked about Al-Majalis-ul-Bil-Amanah,
16:02 that the gatherings,
16:04 are with trust,
16:07 as we talked about in the beginning,
16:09 that,
16:10 if someone talks with confidentiality,
16:13 then,
16:14 it should be kept as a trust.
16:16 So, if someone talks with confidentiality,
16:19 should we keep all the things with trust?
16:21 This is a very good question.
16:23 The answer to this is,
16:26 everything that is done with confidentiality,
16:31 is not a trust.
16:33 I will tell you the exceptions.
16:38 One exception is,
16:39 if someone is in pain because of that,
16:42 then it is important to reach out to the authorities.
16:47 For example,
16:48 if someone says,
16:51 that I am going to steal from someone's house,
16:55 and not to tell anyone.
16:57 Now, he has said that it is confidential,
16:59 it is personal,
17:00 and not to tell anyone.
17:02 But,
17:03 we should think,
17:04 should we keep it confidential?
17:06 We should tell the owners of the house,
17:10 that I have come to know that someone is coming to steal from your house,
17:14 so please take care of your belongings,
17:18 and protect yourself.
17:19 Similarly,
17:20 any other crime,
17:22 that hurts people,
17:24 or any other crime,
17:25 if we come to know that someone is a criminal,
17:28 and he is going to commit a crime,
17:29 and he has told us with confidentiality,
17:32 then it is important to tell the person,
17:35 who is going to be harmed,
17:36 and inform the authorities.
17:38 Then,
17:39 it is not a trust,
17:42 but it is necessary that we should tell the other person,
17:46 so that no one is harmed.
17:47 Similarly,
17:48 if someone tells us with confidentiality,
17:52 about something,
17:53 that requires a fatwa,
17:56 for example,
17:57 then we can go and ask the Mufti,
18:00 that many times,
18:02 you have to talk with context,
18:07 you have to tell the exact thing,
18:09 because,
18:10 the advice you get,
18:12 or whatever fatwa you get,
18:14 will be based on,
18:15 it will be dependent on,
18:17 who has said that thing.
18:19 Sometimes, this happens,
18:21 so there is no confidentiality there,
18:23 but of course,
18:24 the person we talk to,
18:26 the person we seek advice from,
18:28 the person we ask for a fatwa,
18:29 now,
18:30 he will have the trust,
18:31 that you have asked him for a fatwa,
18:35 but now,
18:36 it is his responsibility,
18:37 that he should not tell that thing to anyone else,
18:40 he should not mention that name to anyone else,
18:43 it will be necessary for him,
18:45 it is now a trust on him,
18:47 the Majalis-ul-Amanah,
18:49 the Majalis-ul-Amanah,
18:50 the Majalis-ul-Amanah,
18:51 the Majalis-ul-Amanah,
18:52 now,
18:53 it will apply on them.
18:54 So, it can be asked for a fatwa, etc.
18:57 So, in short,
18:59 the summary is,
19:00 the principle is,
19:01 that if,
19:02 a person asks us for a question,
19:05 with confidentiality,
19:06 so if we need someone else's help,
19:11 we need someone else's help,
19:13 in any way,
19:14 we need help from authorities,
19:17 that person should help us,
19:18 there is going to be a loss, etc.
19:21 or we need some advice,
19:23 we need a fatwa,
19:24 then we can mention that thing to someone else,
19:28 then it will not fall into that treachery.
19:31 Otherwise,
19:33 as we have mentioned in the beginning,
19:36 the Quran,
19:38 it has been mentioned again and again,
19:41 in the Quran,
19:42 very few incidents,
19:44 Allah has told,
19:46 in which Allah has sent punishment on people,
19:50 in which Allah has punished people,
19:52 there are very few incidents,
19:54 if you read the Quran,
19:56 but in that,
19:57 one crime,
19:58 one crime,
19:59 is dishonesty,
20:01 the nation of Sayyidina Shoaib (AS) was dishonest,
20:05 it was less in proportion,
20:07 like in Surah Al-Shu'ara,
20:09 Allah (SWT)
20:10 when mentioned Sayyidina Shoaib (AS)
20:13 mentioned that incident,
20:15 then Allah (SWT) said,
20:17 Shoaib (AS) said to his nation,
20:20 "Do not be of the losers,
20:22 and do not be of those who put people in loss,
20:30 weigh with a straight scale,
20:35 when you weigh,
20:37 make sure that you do not deceive anyone,
20:40 weigh in full,
20:42 and do not let the people lose their things,
20:45 and do not let the corrupt people in the earth
20:47 and do not let the people lose their things,
20:50 and do not let the corrupt people in the earth,
20:53 and fear the One who created you,
20:56 and the first people who came,
20:59 and fear the One who created you,
21:01 and the first people who came,
21:04 and fear the One who created you,
21:06 so a proper,
21:08 this crime,
21:11 this social ill,
21:13 Allah (SWT) mentioned it in detail,
21:16 as I said,
21:18 there are very few things,
21:20 which Allah (SWT) mentioned in the Quran,
21:22 people have done many bad things,
21:24 but Allah (SWT) mentioned some specific,
21:26 important things,
21:28 in which Allah (SWT) punished people,
21:31 and after giving a lot of time,
21:33 it is not caught,
21:35 a prophet is sent,
21:37 a reformer is sent,
21:39 who corrects people,
21:41 and still if people do not listen to him,
21:44 then such a time may come,
21:46 that Allah (SWT) will punish people,
21:48 and this is one of those incidents,
21:50 and what is that crime?
21:52 It is dishonesty,
21:54 so please, we should be honest with people,
21:57 and do not betray anyone,
22:00 and as we talked about in the beginning of this program,
22:03 that,
22:05 any kind of trust,
22:08 and I mentioned one of these,
22:10 in the end,
22:12 but I want to repeat it,
22:15 that when we are working,
22:17 we are employees,
22:19 and we have an employer,
22:21 both sides are honest,
22:23 the employer's honesty is,
22:25 that for example,
22:26 our salary should be paid on time,
22:28 our salary should not be deducted,
22:30 if someone is performing well,
22:34 then he should compensate properly,
22:39 but as an employee,
22:41 our honesty is,
22:43 that we should be honest with the employer,
22:45 and do his work properly,
22:47 and not be dishonest,
22:49 unfortunately, it happens,
22:51 that many employees,
22:53 they go to their work,
22:55 and check their personal emails,
22:57 the project that is given to them by the employer,
23:01 they do not do it,
23:02 and they delay it,
23:05 and they buy time for no reason,
23:07 but they do not buy time,
23:09 and they do not explain,
23:10 that the project is lengthy,
23:12 because they are lazy,
23:14 they are doing their work,
23:16 they do not come on time,
23:18 there are many things,
23:19 and we understand,
23:20 that the people who work,
23:21 that how people are not honest with their work,
23:26 so, in the same way,
23:28 it also happens,
23:29 that for example,
23:30 they have to claim,
23:31 they have to claim some money,
23:32 they have gone on a business trip,
23:35 and they have to claim,
23:37 that they have to claim,
23:38 their travel allowance,
23:40 and they lie in it,
23:42 they produce wrong receipts,
23:44 all this is dishonesty,
23:46 so, please, as an employee,
23:49 it is our duty,
23:50 that we work with integrity,
23:53 we should not deceive our employer,
23:55 he is giving us salary,
23:56 at the end of the day,
23:57 so, we should try,
23:58 to work with all our hard work,
24:00 we should put all our hard work,
24:09 in it,
24:10 and work with honesty,
24:14 then that salary will become lawful,
24:17 otherwise,
24:18 that salary will have doubts,
24:21 so, please,
24:22 we should try,
24:24 and work hard on ourselves,
24:26 earn lawfully,
24:27 do not deceive people,
24:29 do not disturb people,
24:31 and this is necessary,
24:33 to become a perfect believer,
24:35 otherwise,
24:36 it is a sign of hypocrisy,
24:37 that a person,
24:38 deceives in the wealth,
24:39 may Allah make us,
24:40 perfect believers,
24:41 and as I keep on saying,
24:44 that all these principles of religion,
24:46 have come to make a good human,
24:48 to make a good society,
24:50 to make people love each other,
24:54 so, this is the benefit of human,
24:55 in this world,
24:56 and of course,
24:57 when a person will go to Allah,
24:58 on the day of judgement,
24:59 then he will also benefit,
25:01 may Allah make us all,
25:02 the best human,
25:03 the best Muslims,
25:04 me,
25:05 and you,
25:06 InshaAllah,
25:07 with the next episode,
25:08 we will meet next week,
25:10 remember us in your prayers,
