00:02 >> Joe P, quickly here, where do you think the value might be
00:06 in the NFL MVP market?
00:08 >> Well, I always bet two names on MVP and we've talked about
00:10 this on FST on Sunday mornings too.
00:12 And for me this year, the two names are very simple.
00:15 It's Patrick Mahomes because it's still plus six under right
00:18 now.
00:19 It's a really good number.
00:20 I got a plus seven a few weeks ago.
00:21 But the other one is plus 1200 Jalen Hurts.
00:24 And here's why.
00:25 Jalen Hurts last year went ahead of Patrick Mahomes for this
00:28 award.
00:29 The NFC is weak, in my opinion.
00:31 The Philadelphia Eagles are loaded.
00:33 And I think the Eagles are good enough to buck the trend of,
00:36 you know, when you have a team that loses a crushing Super
00:38 Bowl, sometimes they struggle with that hangover the next
00:41 year.
00:42 I don't think the Eagles are.
00:43 I think all the competition basically comes from within
00:45 their division.
00:46 And I think they already know how to handle their division.
00:47 This defense is for real.
00:49 All those Georgia boys have come up there and they are nasty.
00:52 They are tough.
00:53 And I look at Jalen Hurts as, again, when he went past
00:57 Mahomes, everybody was freaking out.
00:59 And then he got hurt a week later.
01:01 And then everybody seems to forget that.
01:03 I don't forget that.
01:04 Plus 1200 is really interesting.
01:06 I think the only other guy that kind of stands out if somehow
01:08 everything just clicks in Baltimore.
01:10 You know, Lamar Jackson has won this award before at plus
01:12 1600.
01:14 But plus 12 is good enough for me with Jalen Hurts.
01:16 So, Hurts and Mahomes, that's my approach going into this year.
01:19 And now it's the ones I'm going to invest in.
01:21 I'm going to wait and watch because I think those two,
01:24 again, I think we're headed to a rematch of the Super Bowl
01:26 potentially, which sounds boring and chalky.
01:28 But I mean, where is the competition coming from the NFC?
01:31 I don't know, Ben.
01:32 I really don't.
