Three new tropical storms in the Atlantic in 24 hours - Emily, Franklin and Gert. Find out where they are headed.

00:00 So much to cover in the tropics beyond again.
00:03 Now what we're looking at the Gulf of Mexico.
00:06 Look at over the open Atlantic waters
00:08 and you could see 123 areas of interest
00:11 and the front water here Franklin.
00:13 Quite a bit of thunderstorm
00:15 activity with that right now.
00:16 You're looking at the the infrared
00:18 image and this colorizes the cloud tops.
00:21 The yellows, the oranges, the reds.
00:23 This is where you have some of those deep
00:26 again areas of moisture with associated
00:28 downpours and even some thunderstorms.
00:30 Kind of a way of almost looking in like
00:32 we're looking at the radar toward the ocean,
00:35 but we're not.
00:36 We're looking at the cloud tops and again,
00:38 the depth, the vertical column here
00:40 with regards to those thunderstorms.
00:42 And you can see this area here
00:44 to off the coast of Africa.
00:46 Also showing some signs of potential
00:48 organization will go in closer.
