Edinburgh and Glasgow have long been Scotland’s rival cities, though both are completely unique. We asked people in Edinburgh for the Fringe what they think of Glasgow.

01:04 From what I've heard, I have a few Glaswegian friends. It's not as nice.

01:10 No, I've heard, so I've got a lot of friends who are students in Glasgow.

01:13 It's a very nice town. I know there's a lot of history behind, you know,

01:18 crime and drugs and all that but no, I think it's a really nice place.

01:22 Oh, we went on a boat trip, we went round the docks.

01:26 It was very nice, I was only there for three days but it was lovely.

01:32 I think Edinburgh is always moving, the sheer velocity of the city,

01:37 even during the year is insane. Whereas in Glasgow we're all just a bit like jellyfish,

01:41 we're all just like, "Hiya, how you doing?"

01:47 I think, well, me living in Edinburgh, I'm really enjoying myself, you know.

01:51 I've got to back Edinburgh here but I mean, I can see the merits of Glasgow but, you know, it's rainier.

01:59 So, yeah, when you get to Edinburgh, yeah, that's a big shock, I think, if you've never been here before.
