Transcript
00:00I'm here at Murrayfield Stadium where in just a few hours Oasis will take to the stage for their first Edinburgh show in 16 years.
00:06Anticipation is building already. There are plenty of fans milling about so we thought we'd catch up with them here but they're mostly looking forward to it for tonight's show.
00:15We actually flew in from Denmark yesterday. 6am flight so 4am wake up.
00:20Bambecula in the Western Arms. We left at 4am yesterday morning. I came through Mali. We're living in Glasgow. A long day yesterday.
00:33Norway. We came yesterday and I'm staying until Sunday so we're going to Glasgow tomorrow. See you later in Scotland.
00:41Have you seen Oasis before? I have, I've seen him at work women. Even when I was only younger, he came a girl for it at his age.
00:47Nah, I've seen him at work so many times. How was that? Brilliant.
00:52On Wembley on Sunday, it was magnificent. Brilliant. Best concert ever. I think they're even better now than they were the first time around. I saw them at Wembley in 2000.
01:04What are your memories Oasis? Just a good time. Just a good time. You can usually look. It may be good. It may be good.
01:15I've loved Oasis since they've released their first album. Since they started off with kind of tuts and they started making a name for themselves.
01:22Just to come and see them again. I think it's come back the old time.
01:27My child, my teenage years. So, yeah.
01:33Not really growing up. I actually got into them like three years ago. So, that's, you know. But I play guitar so it's the most fun band to play and sing, you know, on your bed.
01:43Yeah. Our dad, your brother and sister. And our dad's in Oasis, about 2009.
01:50He's been back down in Heaton Park in Manchester. So, not up on them. But, yeah. Super excited, brother.
01:57We're all brought us up on it. She was a lot more minutes. So, just...
02:02What's going to brought you down so early today?
02:04Eh, just to have a look around. And then just, we're just going to...
02:07Came on the tram. So, just have a look around and then head into town and then come back.
02:11Eh, just to think of the atmosphere for the whole day. It's his first drink, so...
02:14We were trying to get into the first 4000 and then get a wristband to get out again, but that wasn't possible.
02:21So now, we don't really know what to do, but go and have a pint somewhere.
02:26So, we actually want to be kind of in the front area. So, you know, it's like our one chance to see them live. So, that's the...
02:33Just gotta have a few drinks and then just get in early.
02:37And what songs are you looking forward to tonight?
02:39Just all the old classics, love forever.
02:41Be here now.
02:43Wonderwall.
02:45Slide away.
02:47Getting a bit of traction at the moment as well, so yeah.
02:49Eh, stand by me.
02:51Don't look back in anger. Just the classics.
02:54Must be...
02:55Bring it on down.
02:56Slide away from the eye.
02:58Most difficult to say. All of them, you know?
03:01Do you know what I mean?
03:04Cast no shadow.
03:05Slide away.
03:06I think all of them.
03:07I live forever, don't look back in anger.
03:10All the songs, it's a tune that I know and love, so it's gonna be brilliant.
