More than two feet of rain fell in just a matter of days in Beijing, killing at least 21 people.

00:11 The rain comes following a typhoon, which deluged the region, turning streets to canals
00:16 and forcing emergency crews to use rubber boats to rescue stranded residents.
00:20 Officials at Beijing's Meteorological Society, near parallel to our National Weather Service,
00:25 say over 29 inches of rain fell between Saturday and Wednesday morning. Nearby provinces were
00:30 also hit with severe flooding, and the rain destroyed roads and cut power as well as drinking
00:34 water supplies.
00:35 Now, authorities in Beijing say at least 21 people have been killed as a result of the
00:40 flooding.
