00:00 In the name of Allah, the most Gracious, ever Merciful.
00:05 Peace be upon you.
00:07 Your host Irshad Hussain Saeedi is here with us today.
00:13 Yesterday we spoke about the sad and heart-breaking scenes
00:18 when the Imam of the highest station, the Imam of the Martyrs,
00:21 Imam Hussain (ra) leaves for Madinah.
00:25 We spoke to your Governor of Madinah and how he dared to say
00:32 that a person like me, a person like Yazid, should perform the Bai'at.
00:37 This is not possible.
00:39 This was your declaration of truth.
00:41 With this declaration of truth, you leave for Makkah.
00:45 And this journey of yours is on the well-known path
00:49 from where everyone passes.
00:52 Because Hussain ibn Ali was not a secret traveler.
00:57 He was a traveler on the path of truth.
00:59 Every journey of his was based on truth.
01:02 Every step of his journey was based on truth.
01:05 He came to the world for the truth.
01:08 He kept walking on the path of truth.
01:10 And he walked on the path of truth and joined the truth.
01:14 In the last days of Rajab, you leave for Madinah.
01:18 And then you stay in Makkah for about four months.
01:23 There are many meetings in Makkah.
01:26 And you were dedicating your journey of the future,
01:31 your destination, your map, to those experiences,
01:35 to those circumstances and incidents.
01:37 Because there was a lot that you yourself had heard
01:41 from the blessed tongue of the crowned ruler of the universe,
01:45 a lot of it was what your parents, your dear mother,
01:51 your dear father had obtained from their upbringing.
01:55 And you had examined the conditions of your entire youth.
02:02 And your brother Hazrat Imam Hassan, may Allah be pleased with him,
02:06 the way he took the steps of the Ummah for the betterment of the Ummah,
02:14 all that was in front of you.
02:17 That is why you reached Makkah and examined the conditions of Makkah.
02:22 You also met people and many people kept meeting you.
02:26 But Imam Ali Muqam may Allah be pleased with him,
02:29 perhaps he had kept that promise of the world of souls in front of his eyes every moment,
02:36 and he was looking at it and he was moving towards it.
02:39 That my master, peace be upon him, had said in the blessed hadith that
02:44 a time will come when the government of oppression will be established in the year 60 Hijri.
02:49 In 61 Hijri, it will begin and it will spread within the Ummah.
02:55 There will be bloodshed, there will be murder and plunder.
02:58 And my master, peace be upon him, had ordered to seek refuge from the government of that oppression,
03:03 that time and era.
03:09 Even Hazrat Abu Huraira may Allah be pleased with him,
03:12 it is mentioned about him that when he started to reach near the year 60 Hijri,
03:17 he used to seek refuge from it.
03:19 That O Allah, do not show me the sun of the year 60 Hijri and 61 Hijri.
03:24 And Allah Almighty accepted his prayer and he passed away before the year 60 Hijri.
03:31 And it is also mentioned by Hazrat Abu Huraira may Allah be pleased with him
03:35 that in the era of that fitna, he used to say that
03:39 the knowledge that I have, which I have obtained from the Creator of the Universe,
03:44 has two parts.
03:46 One part is that which I have been telling for many years,
03:49 while the other part is that if I tell it, my neck will be cut off.
03:55 And certainly, those were the same traditions, hadiths,
03:58 those same secrets and knowledge, those same secrets,
04:01 which my master, peace be upon him,
04:03 had drawn the map of Khilafat upon the end of the Prophethood,
04:07 and the kingdom that would be established after that,
04:10 and the oppression that would be established after the kingdom,
04:14 whatever had to happen, he had drawn the map of that.
04:18 Therefore, Imam Ali Muqam may Allah be pleased with him,
04:21 was also aware of all those traditions and hadiths.
04:25 And as Hazrat Abdullah bin Abbas may Allah be pleased with him says,
04:29 that we, the Ahlul Bayt-e-Atahar,
04:32 were not one of those people who were unaware of the fact
04:38 that Hussain would be martyred.
04:40 Where would he be? And who would be the killer?
04:43 We knew that place, the time and the situation,
04:48 and we knew those individuals as well.
04:50 But Imam Ali Muqam, Imam Hussain may Allah be pleased with him,
04:55 was a traveler of the path of truth.
04:57 Therefore, he did not want to take any physical steps
05:02 on the basis of those traditions, those secrets and knowledge,
05:07 which would not meet the physical requirements.
05:10 There is the order of the Lord,
05:12 there is the Sunnah of the Chosen One,
05:14 that according to the physical conditions,
05:16 the decisions of the physical are made,
05:18 and the decisions of the physical are made according to the spiritual.
05:21 Imam Ali Muqam may Allah be pleased with him,
05:23 in his life journey,
05:25 and in this most difficult and difficult phase of his life journey,
05:29 while interpreting all those texts and the instructions of the Chosen One,
05:34 he was keeping a close eye on the physical conditions.
05:38 Therefore, he was looking at those physical conditions as a proof.
05:43 Until the proof was established,
05:45 it was not right to take any steps for them.
05:48 And now the time had come.
05:50 Therefore, he refused to take the oath of allegiance to Yazid.
05:54 And during his stay in Mecca,
05:57 the companions were present,
05:59 the followers were present,
06:01 many such righteous people were present,
06:03 who were going to stand with the truth,
06:06 and were going to stand against the falsehood.
06:09 But finally, someone had to move forward.
06:12 Someone had to take care of the leadership of the Ummah.
06:14 Someone had to fulfill the duty of leadership.
06:18 And who could it be other than Hussain?
06:22 Imam Ali Muqam may Allah be pleased with him,
06:24 during his stay in Mecca,
06:26 when he examined the people of Mecca, Medina, Hijaz, and Gird-e-Nawwah,
06:31 the companions, and the prominent names, those personalities,
06:37 when he understood their thoughts and views,
06:40 and at the same time,
06:42 the people of Kufa started receiving messages from him,
06:46 that, O Imam Ali Muqam may Allah be pleased with him,
06:50 you come,
06:52 we are not ready to compromise with the government of falsehood in any way.
06:57 We will stand with you,
06:59 but we are not getting a leader,
07:01 we are not getting a guide.
07:03 On whose hand should we take the oath of allegiance?
07:06 We are not getting a leader other than you.
07:10 You come, we will take the oath of allegiance on your hand,
07:13 and for the end of oppression,
07:15 for the end of oppression,
07:17 for the end of oppression,
07:19 we will sacrifice our bodies and our wealth.
07:21 When you receive these messages,
07:24 during the stay in Mecca,
07:26 then you should call your cousin,
07:29 and your trusted and trusted brother,
07:33 Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel, may Allah be pleased with him,
07:36 to check the situation,
07:39 and you send a letter to him,
07:42 to the people of Kufa,
07:44 and you write to the people of Kufa,
07:47 that, O people of Kufa,
07:49 I give you the message of the oneness of Allah,
07:53 I give you the message of the obedience to the commands of Allah,
07:56 I give you the message of the obedience to the good deeds and the Sunnah of the Prophet,
08:00 and to remain steadfast on it,
08:02 and the expectation that you have placed on me,
08:05 and the invitation that you have sent to me,
08:08 the invitation of your trusted and trusted people,
08:11 which has reached me,
08:13 to check it further,
08:15 I am sending to you my cousin,
08:18 Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel.
08:20 Therefore, with all your intentions,
08:23 with the circumstances,
08:25 with the events,
08:26 with your greatness,
08:27 with your intentions,
08:28 you will inform me,
08:30 and I will decide.
08:32 So, Imam Ali Muqam, may Allah be pleased with him,
08:35 in Ramadan Mubarak,
08:37 sent his cousin, Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel, may Allah be pleased with him,
08:40 to Kufa.
08:43 And you remained steadfast,
08:45 you were present,
08:48 on the land of Mecca,
08:50 and the full light of Ramadan Mubarak came.
08:53 And you,
08:55 you knew it,
08:57 you were seeing the signs,
08:59 you were seeing the circumstances,
09:01 and the prophecies that the Prophet (saw) had made,
09:04 they were also revolving before your eyes.
09:07 You have spent this Ramadan Mubarak,
09:09 in the land of Mecca,
09:11 in the land of Mecca,
09:12 considering it to be the last Ramadan Mubarak.
09:15 And you were spending the nights of Ramadan Mubarak,
09:19 reciting the Kalam,
09:21 Qiyam,
09:22 Siyam,
09:23 the last month of your life,
09:28 which was being spent here,
09:30 in the land of Mecca,
09:31 in front of the Baitullah Sharif.
09:34 You were spending it like this.
09:36 After Ramadan Mubarak,
09:38 Imam Ali Muqam, may Allah be pleased with him,
09:40 was continuously assessing the situation,
09:42 until the month of Dhul Hajj Sharif,
09:45 was approaching.
09:47 And the land of Mecca,
09:49 was preparing for the welcome of the pilgrims.
09:52 And the pilgrims,
09:54 who were travelling to the Baitullah Sharif,
09:57 those people, those blessed people,
09:59 they were coming towards the land of Mecca.
10:02 And the city of Mecca was being populated.
10:04 There is certainly a time,
10:06 and it happens,
10:08 when the whole Ummah gathers there.
10:10 And that was the time of the companions,
10:12 the time of the followers.
10:14 And people like Imam Ali Muqam, may Allah be pleased with him,
10:17 were coming to Mecca.
10:19 So people were rushing for Hajj,
10:21 and people were reaching Mecca.
10:23 Imam Ali Muqam, may Allah be pleased with him,
10:25 had also decided,
10:27 but before him,
10:29 the first priority was to establish Haqq.
10:33 Because these Ibadat,
10:35 Hajj, Salat, Fasting,
10:37 all these Ibadat,
10:39 are only established,
10:41 according to the Quran,
10:43 according to the Sunnah of the Prophet,
10:45 when the power of the One Who creates,
10:47 is established with the people of Haqq.
10:49 The focus was on that,
10:51 that the war of Haqq and Batil,
10:53 which Hussain can fight,
10:55 no one else can fight,
10:57 he was ready for it.
10:59 So it happened,
11:01 that according to the narrations,
11:03 the narrations of Mu'tabar,
11:05 and the opinions of the public historians,
11:07 the message has reached
11:09 Hazrat Muslim bin Aqeel, may Allah be pleased with him,
11:11 that more than 40,000 people of Kufa
11:13 are waiting for his arrival,
11:15 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:17 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:19 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:21 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:23 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:25 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:27 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:29 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
11:31 and he should take the determination of loyalty,
