Distressing footage of a dog being dragged along a road by a woman driving a mobility scooter has caused outrage. The video shot shows the dog unable to stand as it is pulled along a street in Erdington. The clip caused widespread anger on social media.
Police are trying to trace a man in connection with the murder of 16 year old Sekou Doucoure. Ishmael Farquharson is suspected by West Midlands Police on Nursery Road in Lozells last summer. And 18 year old and 16 year old have already been charged with murder.
There will be 15 festive penguin sculptures placed across the city centre for the Penguin Parade Trail this year. The trail went live on Wednesday and will go on until January 6th. At the base of the sculptures is a QR code that can be used to send donations to Birmingham's Children's Hospital.
