Authorities are eyeing to require vaccination among poor families with the continuing threat of COVID-19 and its variants.
The Interior department bares plans to withhold the subsidy of non-vaccinated beneficiaries of the "Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program" or 4Ps.
While some say the policy is "anti-poor", the agency points out only 12 percent of the grantees are vaccinated.
