00:38 that 1,000 consolidated jeepneys

00:41 are not able to travel after being paid.

00:44 But it's just birth pains,

00:47 said LTFRB Chairman Tiofe Lugwadis.

00:50 These are birth pains of a cooperative

00:54 and birth pains of a government program.

00:59 We can still revive these corporations.

01:01 We are now implementing amendments to the program

01:06 to make these cooperatives competitive in the market.

01:13 Although the Manibela Group and Pistorne

01:17 are claiming that they will extend the franchise consolidation deadline until April 30,

01:21 they are not asking for it,

01:24 but they are still allowed to travel

01:26 when they are not being forced to consolidate.

01:29 This is the result of a series of movements.

01:35 Although we are in a bad position,

01:36 the modernization program really stopped.

01:43 We are asking for the LTFRB and the DOTR to study this

01:50 and the administration itself.

01:52 Pistorne is only open to the PUV modernization program

01:56 if they are allowed to maintain their cooperative.

02:09 The PASANG-MASDA and the Liga ng Transportasyon at Operators

02:16 respect the extension of the consolidation deadline

02:25 if he will give space for those who have not been consolidated.

02:30 I am in favor of the second step of consolidation.

02:43 The Pistorne and Manibela Groups will not stop protesting

02:48 while still hoping that the Supreme Court will lower the order
