SELF HELP: 35 GRANTS ISSUED AFTER STRONG WIND DAMAGE
The national commission for self-help says it stands ready to assist those impacted by last week's strong wind event.
To date the commission says it has distributed 35 grants to people who suffered house damages and encouraged others to reach out.
The head of the Commission was speaking to reporter Cindy Raghubar-Teekersingh following a distribution ceremony for past applicants at the Tabaquite Secondary School Thursday morning.
