Today the festival of Eid-ul-Azha is being celebrated across the country. Due to the sacrifice of goat on this day, it is also known as Bakrid. Many people keep raising questions about why the sacrifice of an innocent animal is done, is it according to the rules of the Qur'an. Let us know what has been said about sacrifice in the Quran and how goat sacrifice became popular as a practice. Also, know that which sacrifice is bigger than the goat's sacrifice. Allah always loves such servants, who work for the good of other human beings. Those who make drinking water for the passers-by or make arrangements for drinking water for the people, their sacrifice is first accepted by Allah. During the time when Islam was spreading, only animals like cow, dumba, camel and goat were the main means of livelihood. Because the family was raised by these domestic animals, in such a situation, if one has to sacrifice through his livelihood, then it takes a lot of heart and courage. To inculcate this courage, this practice started.



आज देशभर में ईद-उल-अजहा का त्योहार मनाया जा रहा है। इस दिन बकरे की कुर्बानी दिए जाने के कारण इसे बकरीद के नाम से भी जाना जाता है। बहुत से लोग इस बात को लेकर सवाल उठाते रहते हैं कि आखिर बेजुबान जानवर की कुर्बानी क्यों दी जाती है, क्या यह कुरआन के नियमों के अनुसार है। आइए जानें कुरान में कुर्बानी को लेकर क्या कहा गया है और कैसे बकरे की कुर्बानी एक प्रथा के रूप में प्रचलित हो गई। साथ ही यह भी जानिए कि बकरे की कुर्बानी से बड़ी है कौन सी कुर्बानी होती है। अल्लाह हमेशा ऐसे बंदों को प्यार करते हैं, जो दूसरे इंसान की भलाई का कार्य करें। जो लोग राहगीरों के लिए प्याऊ लगवाते हैं या लोगों के लिए पीने के पानी की व्यवस्था करते हैं, उनकी कुर्बानी अल्लाह सबसे पहले कुबूल करते हैं। जिस दौर में इस्लाम धर्म का प्रसार हो रहा था, उस वक्त गाय, दुंबा, ऊंट और बकरी जैसे जानवर ही आजीविका चलाने का मुख्य साधन हुआ करते थे। क्योंकि इन पालतु जानवरों से ही परिवार का पालन-पोषण होता था, ऐसे में अगर अपनी आजीविका के जरिए को ही कुर्बान करना पड़े तो इसके लिए बहुत बड़ा दिल और हिम्मत चाहिए। यही हिम्मत जगाने के लिए यह प्रथा शुरू हुई।
