This song was written about my father who died. I loved him and I realize that he loved me too, but when he was alive, we would bump heads a lot over different views. And I wish that I had taken a different approach, now that I understand him better. I learned so much about him after he died versus when he was alive. I hope that this song inspires people to embrace their loved ones while they are here. And this song is also meant to help people honor their loved ones who have transitioned as well.
