Darwin store plans scrapped after community concerns

After a five year fight for a liquor license supermarket giant Woolworths has scrapped its plans for a large-scale Dan Murphy's outlet in Darwin. Health and Aboriginal groups had called on the company to abandon its push, saying the outlet was too close to dry Aboriginal communities.
