Exposed to the danger of uncleared landmines

In former war zones around the world, landmines left over from combat are a serious hazard. One of the worst affected countries is Iraq, vast quantities of munition lie seeded here. In the Iraqi village of Butran, many residents have lost limbs by stepping on landmines.
