Sandalwood drugs case: Police raids house of Vivek Oberoi's brother-in-law Aditya Alva

Karnataka police on Tuesday conducted searches at former Karnataka minister late Jeevaraj Alva's son Aditya Alva, who is also the brother-in-law of Bollywood actor Vivek Oberoi. Aditya Alva is named one of the 12 accused in the Sandalwood drug scandal. Joint Commissioner of Police (Crime), speaking to India Today TV, said, "Search warrant was taken and search being conducted at Aditya Alva house near Hebbal called 'House of Lives'." The development comes a day after Kannada actress Ragini Dwivedi, arrested last week in the police crackdown against drug abuse in the film industry, was on Monday remanded to 14 days judicial custody by a court in Bengaluru. Ragini Dwivedi was among five others remanded for this period after their police remand ended.
