The 2020 Oscars once again nominated only men in the best director category, but Nicole Kidman already has a few female-led projects underway.
“I’m working with Lulu Wang and I’ve just done a show with Susanne Bier. I made a pledge at the Cannes Film Festival where I said I’m going to work with a female director every 18 months. For me, it’s simple in terms of just my action,” she told Variety’s Marc Malkin at the SAG Awards.
