The offending commuter, in a silver Vauxhall, can be seen driving down the motorway in a video filmed by another road user. Apparently oblivious to the car behind him, which is trying to get past, the man refuses to budge into the empty left lane. The frustrated driver behind eventually overtakes, while a passenger films the drama. As they pass, the reason for the motorist's dangerous driving becomes clear - because the man can be seen chatting on his mobile phone. The incident was caught on camera near Junction 14 of the M5 for Thornbury, Glos., just after 8.30pm on Wednesday.
