UK: Burst water main batters house in shocking video

A burst water main in Matson, Gloucester sent thousands of litres of water into the air this morning (14 May), severely damaging a nearby home.

The dramatic water jet was visible for miles. Local resident Katie Moore described the scene as “like nothing I’ve ever seen”.

Severn Trent said teams acted quickly to restore supply, though some pressure may remain low during repairs.

The company apologised and thanked locals for their patience, pledging swift repairs and ongoing updates.
