Police investigate after dogs 'poisoned with cannabis'

Police are investigating after a dog had to be rushed to the emergency vet after eating suspected cannabis at a local park.

Stephanie Chamings, 38, was out for a walk with 18-month old Bonnie when the curious pup began eating something which appeared to be human faeces.

Within about two hours, Bonnie lost control of her bladder and struggled to stand up – leaving her distraught owner worried she would die.
