A picket for the resignation of the Parliament was held in the centre of Riga.
Latvian ultra-radicals staged a picket in the center of Riga for the resignation of the deputies of the local Parliament. The main reason for dissatisfaction — the deputies, without debate, adopted the proposal of Brussels to place in Latvia almost 1,000 refugees from Syria and Iraq. The protesters believe that even a small number of refugees poses a threat to the "white race" and consider we should refuse to accept refugees, even under threat of exclusion from the EU.
