Bolivia: Conference Conclusions Will Be Taken to Paris
  • 9 years ago
Anchorman Reagan des Vignes speaks with TeleSUR correspondent Dimitri O’Donnell about the conclusions reached at the Climate Change Conference in Cochabamba. O’Donnell reports that all three Latin American presidents who spoke at the conference attacked capitalism as being the main cause of climate change. One proposal is the establishment of an international environmental court that would have the authority to punish reckless governments. The Western nations, however, are not expected to support the proposal, and conference participants feel that it is urgent to convince them that they must act now. teleSUR
