00:08In its 17th edition, the festival will pay tribute to the Congolese legacy in Cuban Roomba,

00:14highlighting oral tradition, dance and drums as essential elements of contemporary cultural identity.

00:21The festival will include the symbolic planting of the Siwaraia tree,

00:25a sacred tree in Afro-Cuban traditions, which reinforces the link between culture and the environment.

00:32The program will take place from August 21st to 31st in Havana, Artemisa, Mayabeque, Matanzas,

00:38Cienfuegos and Villa Clara, and will feature concerts, dance classes and community meetings.
