Presidents Raul Castro and Barack Obama met on the sidelines of the General Assembly on Monday to discuss the normalization process between the two nations. They did not make a joint statement to the news media, but it is assumed that they discussed the lifting of the blockade, upon which they agree. Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez reported that Raul Castro also insisted that the territory occupied by the US Naval Base at Guantanamo should be returned to Cuba. teleSUR
