Officials at the Colombia-Venezuela border have allowed licensed workers, students and drivers of cargo trucks to pass between the two countries following Venezuela’s border closure to stop paramilitary activity and smuggling. Thousands of Venezuelan children who live near the border and go to school in Colombia were allowed to attend classes. The Mayor of Cucuta also confirmed that Venezuela is allowing workers to enter the country if they show a valid license. teleSUR
