Peace talk negotiators met this week to discuss violence against women in Colombia’s armed conflict. In 2013 a report confirmed the use of sex violence as a weapon of war, employed mainly by paramilitary groups. FARC spokeswoman Victoria Sandino stated emphatically that the FARC has never used violence against women or against civilians as a policy or as a weapon of war. teleSUR
