02:59And the Liberty and Reef Foundation Party of Honduras officially refuses to recognize the election results after an extraordinary assembly,
03:10where they denounced fraud and foreign interference.
03:13Presidential candidate Risi Moncada described the process as an ambush and claimed that voters had been coerced.

06:19Uruguay authorities reported that forest fires have damaged over 30 hectares of eucalyptus in the Department of Canelones.
06:25The Fire Department reported that it managed to control the fire while continuing to monitor the area for any threat of the fire spreading.
06:33They also emphasized that the support of forest brigades and helicopters helped to control the flames.
06:38In addition, no deaths or injuries were reported.
06:41In the United States, record floodwaters slowly receded in Washington State on Saturday, enabling residents to assess the damage and begin the obvious cleanup process.
06:58In Burlington, Washington, a farming community located about an hour north of Seattle, residents began emptying their homes of damaged furniture.
07:06Some properties were still surrounded by water.
07:09Although Saturday was dry, more heavy rain was expected Sunday.
07:12Authorities warned that the water level would remain high for days and that there was still a risk of levee failure or mudslides.
07:20According to analysis of weather data, the storm's moisture levels may have broken December records by as much as 6.7 percent, based on records dating back to 1940.
07:30A new winter storm intensifies the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza, raising health risks to critical levels and leaving 16 people dead in its wake, including several children.
07:47The storm caused flooding in camps and damage to more than 53,000 tents, affecting more than 250,000 displaced people in the occupied territory.
07:55The deadly victims died when buildings weakened by Israeli bombings collapsed.
07:59While rainwater mixes with sewage, creating a serious health risk, the Israeli occupation continues to shirk its humanitarian commitments and local authorities' demand and accountability.
08:15And in Chile, citizens voted in this Sunday's presidential runoff to choose the new president for the next four years.
08:21The presidential runoff beats progressive candidate Janet Hara against the far-right candidate José Antonio Kast.

08:34During the election day on November 16th, no candidate received more than 50 percent of the votes, the minimum number required to be declared president-elect.
08:41The Republican Party's presidential candidate José Antonio Kast invited citizens to participate in the election day.
08:56Today is a good day for Chile, as every election day is, every election day, the citizens have their say.
09:06It is the day of the citizens, not the day of politics.
09:09And I want to thank all of you and ask all Chileans to have a calm day and a day of peace.
09:14A total of 426 polling stations were set up in 118 locations across 64 countries around the world so that Chileans abroad could participate in the second round of presidential elections.
09:29Voting began early in the morning with police authorities on hand to support the election process.
09:35The Electoral Service and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs are working together to guarantee a democratic process and ensure that every vote is counted effectively.
09:42In addition, the election process concluded in Australia.
09:51Now let's take a look at presidential candidates for the governing Unity for Chile Coalition, Janet Hara,
09:57flag bearer for the eight left-wing social democratic and progressive parties, as well as the Christian Democrats.

11:28as a platform for U.S. military operations that endanger regional peace and stability in the Caribbean.
11:33A spokesperson for Mothers Against War, Sonia Santiago, emphasized that various human rights movements,
11:39defense analysts, and international peace organizations are warning about activities
11:43compatible with offensive preparations in Puerto Rican territory.
11:47In this sense, Santiago stated that these are operations aimed at possible interventions against Venezuela,
11:52violating international law and the charter of the United Nations.
11:55In this scenario, Mothers Against War affirmed that Puerto Rico cannot continue to be used
11:59as a starting point for invasions and aggressions against sovereign nations.
12:11And the National Liberation Army declared an armed strike in Colombia from this Sunday until December 17th
12:19against the threats of imperialist intervention in the country.

12:26because their units will have control of them.

12:32However, they recommended not mixing with military personnel to avoid incidents.
12:37For its part, the Ministry of Defense stated that this armed strike, announced by the ELN,

13:16responding to initial information indicating that a suspect was in custody.
13:20Agents from the FBI and other federal agencies joined the operation in the area of the engineering school
13:26where the students were taking final exams.
13:30The state governor also asked the public to stay away from the area while the investigation continues.
13:35And protests were held in the United States city, New Orleans,
13:47against the security campaign promoted by the administration of President Donald Trump to deport migrants.
13:53This protest took place one day after the president announced his intention to send National Guard troops to the city,
14:00a measure that protesters described as illegal and racist.
14:03The mayor-elect of New Orleans, Elena Moreno, expressed her concern,
14:07emphasizing that border patrols target dark-skinned people.
14:11This comes at a time of growing national debate over sanctuary city policies
14:15adopted by Democrat local authorities in several cities across the country.
14:23Moscow affirmed that it will respond to the European Union's decision to freeze Russian assets.
14:31The Foreign Ministry explained that the decision to use Russian assets as a kind of compensatory credit
14:36constitutes an illegal act in violation of international law.
14:40The European Union reported that the assets could be blocked forever,
14:43and this is based on a clause that allows decisions to be made without the unanimous agreement of member countries.
14:49In this regard, the Bank of Russia announced that it will file a lawsuit against EuroClear
14:53for the losses caused by the freezing of assets in 2022.

18:14and threatening Palestinian self-determination, as well as compromising the viability of an independent state.
