In southern Lebanon, the army inspected a house after Israeli forces threatened to bomb it, alleging it was being used to store weapons. Following the inspection, UNIFIL and the military patrol confirmed the house was free of weapons. Later, through the Mechanism Committee, it was revealed that the Israeli army intended to carry out an air strike in Yanuh. UNIFIL warned that such an action would directly violate United Nations Security Council Resolution 1701, which prohibits hostilities along the Lebanon-Israel border.
