Violence rises in Honduras during 1st year of Hernandez presidency

As Juan Orlando Hernandez completes his first year as President of Honduras, violence and crime rates continue to rise in the country, in spite of his promises to reduce them. Between 2004 and 2014, the murder rate in Honduras went from 37 to 69 homicides for each 100,000 inhabitants. It is the highest murder rate in the world. teleSUR
