Frankenstein: Through the Eyes of the Monster is a point-and-click adventure game in which players take the role of Phillip Werren, a man who is executed for the murder of his daughter Gabrielle and later brought back to life as one of Dr. Frankenstein's experiments. With only fragmented memories of his former life, Phillip explores Frankenstein's castle, searching for clues and uncovering the truth behind his death, his daughter's fate, and the doctor's experiments. The game combines exploration and puzzle-solving with full-motion video sequences and 3D CGI environments, with Tim Curry portraying Dr. Frankenstein. Certain decisions made during the adventure can affect the fate of other characters and lead to different endings.
Reception was mixed; Sega Saturn Magazine praised the acting but considered the game fairly conventional compared with other interactive puzzle adventures.
