00:10As they take over a hotel in Torquay

00:13The organisation estimates tens of thousands of visitors

00:18Come to the southwest each year to enjoy naturism

00:21But says we're still lagging behind in marketing

00:24Compared to the continent

00:26They've got big hoarding signs

00:28You know, ten kilometres down this road is the big naturist site

00:32They've got naturist beaches that are just signposted

00:34And there doesn't seem to be any sort of issue

00:36They've obviously accepted that naturism is as part of a normal life as everything else

00:41British Naturism lists 26 naturist locations in Devon and Cornwall

00:46Including beaches such as the one here in Budley-Salterton

00:50It also says that tourism bodies in the region

00:53Aren't doing enough to advertise these places

00:56And cash in on the buff pound

00:58Niche markets are incredibly important

01:01And after two decades doing a job like this

01:03Actually I've never really looked at this market

01:04Or the buff pound

01:05And I think it's sort of something people have shied away for

01:08And there may be British Reserve

01:09But given the size of the market

01:11It's actually one that should be tackled and looked at

01:14And in the digital era

01:15There are ways to get to markets

01:17That weren't available even five years ago

01:19It's not a crime in England to be naked in public

01:23Except when it's done to cause harm or offence

01:26Loads of social problems would disappear if people would come along to a naturist event

01:32Tick their clothes off and see that actually we're all, all the same

01:37But we're all uniquely different
