00:00Hey, congratulations on being in the spotlight, that's where you're getting tonight, when you kind of get the call like,
00:06hey we're going to invite you down to an event and you are in the spotlight, what does this accolade
00:09mean to you, how do you feel about it?
00:11I feel so honoured and so grateful and like, I don't know, it's just, it's such a hard industry, like
00:21it feels like you work really really hard and you don't really get anywhere for a really long time and
00:26then all of a sudden like you get some recognition and people are saying well done and they've seen your
00:33work before and you're like, oh you have?
00:38You know, you just feel so like, I don't know, I always say I suffer from little old me syndrome
00:45and I do think this industry kind of makes you feel like that until like, until all of this, you
00:51know, because it feels so, uh, transient I guess, yeah.
01:00Well, I know, the topic of this part of the year is going to be accolades and awards because this
01:06coming Sunday, is it?
01:07It's the goddamn BAFTAs.
01:09It's the BAFTAs.
01:10I assume you've been before but, you know, you're up for a best lead actress in a...
01:16Supporting.
01:16It's a supporting, my bad.
01:18No worries.
01:18But hey, are we excited to be attending, like do you have expectations of the day or are you just
01:22kind of taking it all as it comes?
01:23I'm very excited to attend.
01:26I've been to the BAFTAs the last couple of years but as a presenter so this feels really, really nice
01:34and a bit nerve wracking.
01:36You've been nervous at all because, I mean, not to call it the main event because, you know, Britain versus
01:42America but you're also going to the bloody Oscars too.
01:44Has prep started for that as well, the conversation started?
01:47I know these things don't just like happen, like are you already starting planning that?
01:50Yes, absolutely.
01:52I mean, I'm not that involved but the conversations have started, like, what I'm wearing, the colour, the design, slowly,
02:03slowly.
02:04But I'm not, like, in it on the day-to-day like my stylist is or my publicist is.
02:10Like, I'm more like, okay, yeah, sure, sure.
02:15So, yeah, yeah.
02:17Obviously, this is a weird time of year where you are attending a lot of these events, a lot of
02:21parties, a lot of awards dues.
02:23Do you have, like, a, give a psych-up playlist, like, to give a playlist to, like, psych you up
02:26to get you in the headspace of these kind of things that's quite really listening to?
02:29No.
02:30I do not have a playlist.
02:32I do everything in quiet, in silence.
02:34Oh, that's so much better.
02:35Yeah.
02:36It's all good.
02:36It's all very overwhelming.
02:37There's a lot of sound right here, lights and heat and, you know, like, it's a lot.
02:42So I get very overstimulated.
02:44So actually, I like things to be as quiet as possible before I leave the house.
02:47Well, it's going to get a lot louder tonight before it gets a lot quieter.
02:50Right, right, right.
02:50Enjoy tonight.
02:51Thank you so much for your time.
02:53Enjoy tonight.
02:53See you there.
02:53Good to see you.
02:54Good to see you.
