00:00 We're two hours south of Atlanta, it's Labor Day weekend and that means the opening weekend of Georgia's dove season.
00:06 We're here with the 24/7 Hunt Crew and Can-Am and we're going to check out how the biggest weekend in Georgia dove hunting goes down every year for these guys.
00:14 And we're going to look at how they use their Can-Ams to enhance the experience. Come check it out with us.
00:19 [music]
00:24 So we're getting loaded out this morning, the hunt's about to start, but check this out, look how many Can-Ams there are here.
00:29 We've got a Commander Mud Ready, bone stock, but look at this.
00:34 Defender HD10 Lone Star Edition with these sick MSA wheels on it. And come around the back, check this out.
00:41 You've got a shotgun rack, you've got a gunner dog kennel right there to get you and your dogs right out into the field.
00:47 There's a toolbox on this thing, fully enclosed cab, windows, mirrors, the works. This thing is loaded down.
00:54 And look at this, is that our tuk-tuk? It's not our tuk-tuk, but it is a Defender HD7 with a pretty similar rack to what we've got going on.
01:01 That thing is going to be invaluable this weekend. And if that's not enough, there's a Defender Limited HD10 right here, just a normal enclosed cab.
01:10 That thing's going to be sweet. Got another HD7. And then come down here, this is the really cool part.
01:16 There's not one, there's two Defender 6x6s. That's an XT, that one's a Limited, which means enclosed cab and air conditioning in the full works.
01:26 Can-Am has brung the house to support this hunt, and we can't wait to see all these things in action.
01:31 And also, these aren't the only Can-Ams here. The guys from the 24/7 crew have at least three, and we'll be checking those out later in the video.
01:38 I'm here with Renar Moody. He's the guy who put this whole thing together.
01:42 Renar, what a beautiful morning. Tell me a little bit about 24/7.
01:46 Yeah, man, so 24/7 Hunt, we're just a community-based outdoor group. We like to spread love and shine a lot of light on the outdoor community.
01:55 We're minority-based, so we like to appeal to a different demographic. It's just a blessing.
02:01 We want to do our part and get more people outside and having fun, whether that's hunting, hiking, or whatever.
02:07 We like to try to touch the younger generation as well, so we kind of play with a lot of different things.
02:13 That's just the whole motive, man, just to bring everybody together outside and have a strong community.
02:18 So did you start with hunting, or did you start with community?
02:20 Man, we started with, I guess, both at the same time, simultaneously.
02:24 I grew up hunting with my dad and all my uncles and family, so it was always a good time.
02:29 That's what hunting's about to me, good time, memories, and just sharing that time together.
02:35 So that's what we try to stay focused on.
02:38 Right on. What's next for 24/7? Where are you guys going?
02:41 Man, hopefully to the moon. Hopefully to the moon, man. We got a lot of big things coming.
02:46 We want to keep raising money. We do a lot of scholarship things for the youth, stuff like that.
02:51 Raising money to get people outside and help with scholarships, like I said, with the college kids and stuff like that.
02:58 So just trying to create more ways to reach out and help the people that's younger than us,
03:04 and that might have interest in what we have going on.
03:09 So you talk about young people and getting the community involved.
03:12 I noticed that a lot of the gear, a lot of the hunting gear out here is not the normal stuff you see in the field.
03:16 Tell me a little bit about some of the urban wear stuff you're doing and where that came from. How does that tie in?
03:21 Yeah, so with us having a big urban influence in the brand and what we do,
03:25 we like to take the urban space and mix it with the outdoor space and just find that sweet spot.
03:31 It gives people a good glimpse of who we are from the best of both worlds.
03:38 It's something that the hunting industry really hasn't seen, and that's where we fit. That's our home.
03:44 Like I said, it all goes back to us appealing to a different demographic and just doing our part,
03:51 touching the group of people that haven't really been touched in the past.
03:56 As you see, people think Georgia and they think Atlanta.
03:59 What does it feel like to show people this side of Georgia, this part that you're from,
04:03 which is completely different from what most people imagine?
04:06 Right, right. I love it. To me, this is what Georgia really is.
04:09 You can go get you a little taste of city and then drive an hour outside of that and you're in the country.
04:16 I think us Georgia folks are real versatile. We all come from a space similar to this.
04:23 Roots of people's families all come from this country pretty much.
04:28 It's just fun to bring it back, dial it back in, get away from the amulet signs and stuff like that
04:33 and get outside and just be at peace and one with nature.
04:37 It's beautiful to be able to show the world this is Georgia, this is what we're about,
04:42 real community-based folks, and just getting back to loving each other.
04:46 You mentioned getting outside, and a big part of getting outside are these can-ams here,
04:50 those side-by-sides. How do you work those into your hunting and how do you work them into 24/7?
04:55 For one, a can-am, the best machine on the market, and we love it.
05:01 It just makes the job easier for everything we have going on, whether that's sobering people,
05:07 hauling ducks, hauling deer, working on the farm, stuff like that.
05:12 It's just a versatile vehicle. From there, you can dive into can-am.
05:16 If you want to go street-based, they have that too.
05:19 It's just a great company, great brand, and good products.
05:23 We just love to utilize them. It's a tool, and they're real reliable, and that's what we want to be about.
05:28 What were you driving before you guys were using can-ams? Were you doing four-wheelers?
05:32 We were using four-wheelers and different side-by-sides from some other manufacturers.
05:37 The ride in the can-ams is just incomparable.
05:42 You kind of feel like you're floating. I don't see us leaving any time soon.
05:46 It's a dream come true to be able to work with can-am and be a part of their family.
05:51 We really appreciate everything they do for us.
05:53 Excellent. We can't wait to see some hunting, get some ducks on the ground.
05:57 Thank you so much for having us. Guys, check out 24/7 Hunt on Instagram.
