It is all over for one of Hollywood's most glamourous couples.

Actress Katie Holmes has filed for divorce from her superstar husband Tom Cruise, according to a long-time lawyer for the actor. A lawyer for Holmes, 33, has also been quoted as confirming they are calling it quits.

The reason for the split is not known.
