The Thing gets 21st century makeover

The new The Thing is technically a prequel to the 1982 film starring Kurt Russell rather than a remake, but it bears many of the hallmarks of the original; again it is set on a research station in the Antarctic where an alien lifeform infiltrates, sparking mass paranoia and plenty of gruesome special effects. http://www.euronews.net/
