Sugar Chile Robinson is Margot's cousin. Born Frankie Robinson in 1940, he grew up in Detroit, Michigan. Sugar Chile began pounding on the family piano when he was a toddler. In 1945 he was discovered" by pianist and bandleader Frankie Cole. Within a year he was asked to play at a party for President Harry S. Truman, guested with Lionel Hampton's Orchestra and appeared performing the title song among others in the 1946 romantic comedy film "No Leave, No Love".
