Argentinean soccer legend Diego Maradona has raised $500,000 in a charity shoot-out on the roof of one of Moscow's biggest department stores.
The former Argentina player and manager tried to hit ten targets with 16-metre kicks on the roof of the upmarket Central Universal Department Store.
Each target carried a different value of between $25,000 and $300,000 and Maradona succeeded in hitting several of the targets while also missing others.
The money will be donated to Raisa Gorbachev foundation, an organisation named after the late wife of former Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev and committed to combatting childhood cancer.
If Maradona had hit all the targets he would have raised one million dollars for cancer-hit children.
