00:06For us, tourism is so important. It is a course for good. That's what it's about and it's for our
00:10communities. It's one of the people that live in Scotland as well as our visitors and we've got
00:14some great experiences where you really can immerse yourself into the communities. We're
00:19a very open and inclusive country and destination and that will always continue.
00:28I think what we want is people that can come maybe in the shoulder seasons and can experience
00:33Scotland in a responsible way. I think it's more about coming and enjoying those experiences
00:42responsibly at Emma and if they can stay a bit longer, if they can do the slow travel, all the
00:47better.
00:57The Dumpreece and Galloway is an incredible place. It's got amazing outdoor activity and so if you're
01:02adventurous, if you're a thrill seeker, that is definitely the place for you and it's one of the
01:06areas where there is a capacity and you know and there's a lot to do but also a lot of
01:11availability
01:12and you know it's affordable so it's definitely something I think we would encourage people to do.
01:19In 2020 there's quite a lot. There's the Open if you're into your golf and we've got the Tour de
01:24France
01:25and the Grand du Parc starting in Edinburgh which is fantastic and we've also got the World Rally Championship.
01:38I think for me the difference in Scotland is it always comes quite naturally to us because we are that
01:43hospitable
01:44kind of nation. We love hospitality. We're brought up to make sure people enjoy themselves. We've got that beautiful landscape,
01:51we've got that history, integrity and the food and it's the way we live.
01:58It's very grounded, very authentic and then quite enriching.
02:01It's very grounded.
02:03It's very grounded, very grounded.
02:08It's very grounded.
02:10It's very grounded.
02:10It's very grounded.
02:10It's very grounded.
