00:12Wales is an incredibly compact destination to the west of England, between England and Ireland.
00:19Huge diversity within a compact area of capital city, Cardiff in the south, three national parks,
00:28a beautiful sunning landscape, lots of outdoor adventure activities like walking, cycling and more extreme like zipping,
00:37plus fantastic unique culture, we speak Welsh and English, we have our own unique language, which is really vibrant,
00:47all of the signs are bilingual and you just get a really strong sense, you know, the tastes, the sounds
00:53and the locals that you're in somewhere very, very different.
01:03Wales appeals to all different kinds of visitors, but especially ones that like to slow down a bit, go off
01:11the beaten track,
01:13discover somewhere new and different and really keen to get to know the kind of locals and the communities in
01:21the area.
01:21We have a fantastic welcome that we give to visitors when they come to Wales and I think just how
01:30beautiful it is,
01:31I think because we're still something of a lesser known destination, but there's just so much appeal and an incredible
01:39history and diversity that we offer.
01:47We've got the climax of the Tour de France Grandes Blanc coming to Wales on the 4th of July in
01:532027, after it's been to Scotland and England.
01:56We're hugely excited to be able to showcase Wales as a world class cycling destination, not only for those that
02:03love to do the Tour de France climbs,
02:06but we have some beautiful, flat, easy off-road cycling routes that are really perfectly family friendly, as well as
02:13thrilling mountain bike experiences.
02:17And it's a great way, not only to just come and experience cycling, but to combine it with our epic
02:23castles, museums.
02:26You know, stop, just enjoy the views, the food and drink and just really immerse yourselves in the destination that
02:33is Wales.
