00:02Alright, here we go. I'm taking over for Tim Graham. You're listening to WGR Middays,
00:08driven by Northtown Automotive. I am Owen Parker, here with Brad Reiter. I have now
00:14taken control of the ship, and I, for the first time this season, am truly mad at the
00:21Sabres. I started yesterday laying out why I thought this game last night was a big opportunity
00:30for them and was as important as a November 4th hockey game could be. And they played well for
00:38two periods and then blew it. And I found myself for the first time last night driving home from
00:45the press box. I walk back to my car because I park two miles away because I'm psycho and
00:51I like to walk after the games. I found myself for the first time really genuinely annoyed
00:59at them. What were you mad at? I was mad at the collective forward group. I was specifically
01:07really mad at Ryan McLeod and Josh Norris. Somebody's naming names. Lindy Ruff felt the
01:15same way that you did after the game. We listened to his whole press conference that lasted two
01:19minutes and 32 seconds, and he felt like you did, but he didn't name names. And I'll tell
01:24you, as I'm walking to my car, so I'll take you through my process of when these games end,
01:30I don't go down to the locker room and do the press conference thing because I got to be
01:34back here so early in the morning. So I skirt out of there right away. And it times up so
01:39that I have my 15 minute walk to my car from the arena. I get in my car and I
01:46almost always hear
01:46one player and then Lindy. And that's most of my drive home. And I'm walking, I'm stewing,
01:53I'm annoyed. There's fans around me. And it's the first time I've heard fans be like,
01:58there's a murmur about. And I sit down in my car and I hear the very end of Peyton Krebs.
02:05And then I hear the start of Lindy and I'm mad. And I'm like, I need Lindy. I want to
02:11hear Lindy
02:11here. What, what is he going to sound like? And he was just as mad as I felt. He sounded
02:16exactly
02:17like you. And I was minus the smile. You have a smile on your face. I often, there are times
02:23where
02:23I think of things I have a, you know, you want to call it a take a thought, whatever. And
02:29I, I
02:31tend to not search out confirmation for those things, because I think that can be,
02:37you, you can end up stealing ideas easily doing that. But there are times where I am listening to
02:43these post-game press conferences where the, the, the prevailing thought that I have is shared by the
02:48head coach. And that often makes me feel good because a, I, I have admired and respected Lindy
02:56rough since I was born essentially. And I think he's a great hockey mind and it makes me feel like
03:01I know what I'm looking at. Validation. Yeah, exactly. And that was last night for me. And that
03:07typically makes me feel better. But last night it made me feel more mad because I know he's mad
03:13and I'm mad. So I can be mad. And because I'm mad, like, ah, I'm mad. That was a big
03:20game. And
03:21it was even worse than if they had just gone out and not played well was that they went out
03:27and
03:27played. They got a stellar performance from Ellis, who I will get to here. They got a really, really
03:34solid, just 40 minute hockey game. It was really good. There came into the third period up one,
03:41nothing. You felt good. This was something they were really good at last year. They just did it to
03:46San Jose. Like, okay, here we go. They're back. Show me a good third here and I'm happy. And almost
03:53immediately that third period went the other way. And it didn't look good. And momentum kept building
04:00and building and building. And it felt like Ottawa was inevitable. And they were eventually scoring,
04:05you know, to tie it. And then immediately, you know, briefly after that to go up by one goal.
04:12And that's the game. And it was, to me, you blew a lot of opportunities last night. You blew an
04:20opportunity to get two points when your goaltender had a great hockey game. He was great last night,
04:26Ellis, in every phase that a goalie can be. He stopped every shot you'd want him to. He controlled
04:31the game in terms of rebounds and freezing pucks. And, and, and just like, he never felt out of
04:39control. And he played the puck really well, puck handling wise. Like he made great passes.
04:45He broke the four track. He was great in every way you could ask a guy to be last night.
04:50And it
04:50wasn't good enough. And especially when you've been struggling to get those performances early in the
04:57season, that is frustrating from your goaltender. And then you get, I, I, I almost, I can't even
05:04get through everything. I just need to get to get to McLeod and Norris. They, it is unacceptable what
05:09they're doing right now. Josh Norris is the highest paid forward on the Buffalo Sabres. And he is
05:15actively probably one of their three worst players. And that just, you just cannot win like that.
05:22You can't. What are you seeing from him that makes you so mad? Nothing. Okay. Nothing. I'm seeing
05:28nothing. And that can be okay. If you're Beck Malenstein or you're Tyson Kozak, but when you're
05:36Josh Norris and you were, you traded a really a good young centerman and you've got a big deal
05:46to like that all comes with you, you cannot be nothing every night. He's been nothing
05:52every single night, Brad. He, it is, I've been trying to be patient with it because I like the
05:59player, but this is 15 games of garbage from Norris. It's, it's unacceptable. And you can't
06:06expect to win hockey games when a player that is supposed to be that important for you is a ghost
06:12and he's been a ghost. And I don't know what you do at this point. I don't know if you
06:17can put him in
06:18the press box, but he deserves to be there. And so does McLeod. And that is two of your veteran
06:26leader centermen. And I know McLeod's playing on the wing, but he's supposed to be a center
06:31and they're both hurting you right now, hurting you, not just not helping enough actively preventing
06:39you from winning hockey games. And you just, I don't know what you're supposed to like, both of
06:45them can't go to the press box. Like something's got to change with those two. It's, it's really
06:50getting absurd. Do you accept that on any given night, you just might not see, hear from, think
06:57about even a really good player in the NHL. Like that's, it's pretty normal. Like you go
07:03to a game, like how was so-and-so today? I'm not even going to use a name because that
07:08will
07:08imply that I mean something about them. And I don't, this is just a general question about
07:12watching hockey. It's kind of, this is what I've always thought about NHL versus NBA. If
07:19I tune into an NBA game and who should I even use as my example, Wemenyama, I tune into a
07:29game, even if he doesn't have his best game, I'm going to get the moment where I'm like,
07:34oh, that's why everybody's talking about him. Right. If I do that with Crosby, with
07:42with Crosby, fine. Crosby's good. There will be a night where I go to a game
07:48and it's like, holy crap. One of the greatest of all time is here. And you just don't notice
07:54them because nothing really happens. That's just the nature of the game. There's probably
07:5815 of those games, even for the best guys on the planet. I would probably not. There's
08:03a handful of guys that are just, you're always going to notice because they have some sort
08:06of skill. Like McDavid, you're always going to see, but there are that speed. Yeah. That's
08:12speed. Speed's going to stand out, but we'll always do that. But 15 is an interesting number
08:15because you're talking about a 15 game season so far where you're like, Hey, where have
08:21you been? I gave you 14 nothings. The 15th one made me a little, a little hot. So right.
08:29Yeah, exactly. I've been trying to like, okay, he's, he's been injured a lot. Like maybe he's
08:36just getting his feet under him. He's not whatever. I, I, I made every excuse I could
08:41make. And last night I finally got to like, this guy can't, this guy can't be my highest
08:46paid forward anymore. I can't win with him being this player. You cannot. And I don't
08:52know what the, like, this is where I get really frustrated. Like, what's, what do you
08:56do? I have no idea. You can't trade them. Nobody wants that player. Nobody's going to
09:01trade for that guy. You're not going to put them in the press box. He's your highest paid
09:06forward, but he should be. And every line he plays on turns into a nightmare. And last
09:14night he's playing with he, that line last night, Norris McLeod Zucker should be the coach's
09:22dream of like, put these three together. They're going to go be professionals. They're
09:26not going to hurt you. And last night they were by far, by far their worst line. And
09:33I don't know how to fix it. And I, I don't know if I would imagine that there's a lot
09:39of frustration right now about them specifically. Those two specifically Norris and McLeod have
09:45both been. Zucker just caught a stray. Is he involved here? Not really. He's just coming
09:49back from injury. He looks slow to me, but that might be because he's playing with two guys
09:53that might as well be cement bricks tied to your ankles because they are, they are both
09:58right now, completely unable to impact hockey games in a positive way. McLeod last night,
10:05the first chance, the, they, they give up a really good chance, nine seconds in and immediately
10:11followed up by McLeod over skating a puck and giving them a wide open net on the back
10:15door. And Ellis makes this probably the save of the season so far for them. And that's McLeod.
10:21Lindy brought that up in the press conference, two minutes and 32 seconds of anger with one
10:25blip of, Oh, that's nice. Save nine seconds in. Yeah. And then he, he is loses the draw
10:31on the, on the tying goal. Doesn't mark his man, which is the center's responsibility in
10:37that scenario. Lost draw. You are man on man, center on center. Don't let him beat you to
10:41the net. What happened? He beat you to the net dude. And not only is that like, there are
10:47egregious outcomes in the D zone, but he's blowing up offensive possessions and he's
10:53turning the puck over like a maniac. And I, and then Norris is just floating around out
11:01there. Oh, that was McLeod, right? That was McLeod. Okay. Sorry. Norris is, is I've never
11:07seen a player. I noticed less on the ice ever in my life than I've noticed him this season.
11:13Well, we're two, we're two years in. I'm still waiting to see why they traded for him. I mean,
11:18I, there have been little like blips here and there, but I, there, uh, he doesn't shoot the
11:22puck. The highest paid part is the frustrating. Yeah. He doesn't shoot the puck. He doesn't make
11:27plays. He barely skates with it, which is supposed to be something he's really good at.
11:32The best game he's played this season was a game in which I went, well, that was pretty good in
11:37the
11:37D zone twice. It's his best game this year. That cannot be your highest paid for his best game is
11:43a
11:43game where I go pretty good twice in the D zone. I just, I'm running out of runway with these
11:50guys
11:50here and I don't know where you go. Well, you said the two things you can't do. One of them
11:57is you
11:57can't trade them. I agree with that. I don't know how you like, how do you, you would have to
12:01find a
12:02trade partner with like trying to hit a cap floor somehow where, you know, how long is his contract?
12:09How much longer he's got for a while, right? So it's okay. So there's nothing, there's nothing
12:13you can do there. And then you said, you can't put them in the press box because he's your highest
12:17paid forward. Well, my thought is once you're on the team and you're locked into the team,
12:21everybody's equal. Like I get that his check is a little heavier than that of other players,
12:27but if he's the one who's not helping me and my team is better with him going upstairs and then
12:32presumably better when he comes back from upstairs, cause he's got his head straight or whatever it
12:37takes. Um, I'm very, very willing to do something like that. Um, and, and set him down for a game
12:44or a week or whatever it is to get him back to becoming the, uh, or get him back to
12:50the player
12:50that you thought you acquired. So while you're, I think you're right, it's borderline impossible
12:57to move him. Lindy rough gets to do what he wants. Here are your players. You pick the ones that
13:02you want
13:03to dress tonight. And if you choose to not dress that guy, it should not from a business standpoint,
13:09but Gula shouldn't be mad. Yarmo shouldn't be mad. If you decide, yeah, I'm putting a big chunk of
13:14money. You're paying them all anyway. And my team's better without them. They're better with him up
13:18there. If I've determined that, and I'm not even saying that you are Lindy might be, um, go ahead,
13:25go ahead and put them up there. Cause you can do that. And it probably cuts through pretty well.
13:30The message cuts through pretty well when you're like, keep your suit on, sir. Nice tie. Go sit up
13:38there and wear your tie all day and make a zillion dollars to not play hockey for me today. I
13:43don't
13:43think that that's out of the question. I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility. And I
13:47think that's a tool that Lindy rough has that he could use if he deems it appropriate in the way
13:52that you seem like you do. Yeah, you're right. I shouldn't just say that you can't do it. What I
13:58mean
13:58when I say that is that that that represents you have a major, major roster issue is if you're
14:07putting your highest paid forward in the press box, because he's not playing well for 15 straight
14:12games, then you've got a problem with your team. And I don't mean that you literally can't do that
14:17or shouldn't even do that. Like Lindy rough probably should at some point, but it's a, it's a wild
14:27talk walk for a third round pick. Wow. There's that. Yeah. Maybe we should have gotten one of
14:32these deals across the line and maybe we are in a little bit of trouble relying on these kids
14:38because the guy that we think it should be a bankable asset for us is nothing, nothing. And
14:46I don't know what to do aside from put them up in the box. And what, what, where do we
14:51go from
14:52here? What happens if that doesn't work? That's, that's what becomes an issue is like what, all
14:58right, you put them up there for three nights in a row. Like, okay, that is a message. And
15:03then he comes back and there's 10 more games just like this. What do you do? You, what you
15:09do is you accept that this guy that's supposed to be one of my three best forwards stinks now.
15:15He's an anchor, but in the entire wrong way, right? You want somebody to be an anchor of the
15:20team? He's the anchor that's bringing you down. And it's just, it, it, it gets to a point with
15:23that, with him specifically, where you need to replace that role that he's supposed to be playing
15:31because none of the kids are doing it. And I don't, I don't know that I am now ready to
15:37say that I
15:37expect him to ever do it because he's not, he's not even shooting the puck. Fairburn's got a piece
15:43today about how little he's shooting it. And it's, it, it is jarring. And I started doing this
15:49today. I ran out of time, but I want to take a look around the league. I have, I would
15:53honestly
15:53tell you, I think he's probably the worst, highest paid forward in the entirety of the
15:58league. I mean, I don't have a list, but I looked at one earlier and it's, I think it's
16:06right. I haven't watched as much. How would you look and you'd like, I would swap him for
16:11any of them. I would trade him for any of the names I saw today right now. And that that's
16:19a
16:19bad spot to be when you're trying to return to the playoffs and, and establish yourself as a
16:24legitimate organization. If you're supposed to be one of your best guys is that you're in trouble
16:31and you've got to fix it. And you might not have to fix it by getting rid of him, but
16:36what you got
16:36to do is get a new him. You got to find somebody that can do the thing that you need
16:41him to do
16:41because nobody's doing it. And he's not, yeah. Like what, what are we going to do?
16:46Is talk available? That's the question. I was really, can you tell I'm mad? Yeah. I came in
16:53here. I was like listening to Lindy last night, except you, I mean, we've got two hours to do.
16:58Lindy, Lindy got himself out of there in two minutes and 32 seconds. Good for him. Paul asked him
17:02about Colton Ellis and he was like, screw that. And then he just did what he wanted to do. And
17:07it
17:07was great. And I, we listened to that. My first reaction after listening to Lindy is like, oh my
17:12God, they're about to win seven games in a row. Like that's, that's what it sounded like. And it
17:16sounds like you're trying to motivate them too. You know, it's, it's the same, it's the same general
17:20vibe. Yours is just a little more jovial because you smile when you say it, you know,
17:25and he was not smiling and Lindy was scowly and going zero. We got zero and doing a hand zero
17:30thing.
17:30Um, that was angry Lindy. And I think angry Lindy usually, uh, usually gets results. He's been
17:36doing this for a long time. He knows how to push buttons. He clearly had an agenda last
17:41night after that game. And you wouldn't think, you know, you just look at the score, like two
17:45to one, how bad, how bad could it have been at two to one? Right. You had a league going
17:50into the third period, which you almost never do. How bad could it be? Well, this is how
17:55bad Lindy is mad and you're mad. I'm okay. But I also have already transitioned to
18:00the seven game winning streak. That's about to happen. Sure. So you got, I'm hoping for
18:05that. I kind of picture Lindy's rant, um, being timed like, yo, we've got three straight
18:11home games after this. Um, let's win those. Please get me five out of those six points.
18:16I want six, but give me five. And then we're on track. And you know, at some point you're
18:21going to start creeping up in the standings when you're getting points on a regular basis.
18:24They didn't last night, but they just won three in a row out West and it did nothing
18:28in the division standings. Yeah. But well, but what can do a lot of the division standings
18:34is going into a third period with a lead against the division opponent and letting that run
18:40away from you and giving them two points and not even banking one. Like that is whether
18:45that happens today, last night or in March, that matters a lot for the division. And it's
18:52just that we can't see where it will matter, why it will matter, but it will, that will
18:58matter. This division is that tight. And now you're, you're still tied for last in the division
19:04with Detroit. And now you are, you're, you're four points back to Ottawa, you're three points
19:09back at Tampa, you're three points back of Florida. Like you're, you're, you're behind
19:15you are behind now. Not ideal. No, not ideal. 803-0550 is the number where you can reach
19:23us as we take your calls. Anybody else sharing in Lindy Ruff and Owen Parker's anger after
19:28last night's game? I didn't know that I was supposed to be mad about it. Obviously, you
19:34know, I'd prefer to score more than one goal. I liked Colton Ellis. Everybody liked Colton
19:38Ellis last night. Um, that, I don't think that was earned a second start. It was no
19:44location. We're, we're, we're flipping back and forth and that's fine. But I think we'll
19:47probably see him again in a couple of days on a, what is it? Sunday, Sunday, Friday,
19:52Sunday afternoon. I think we'll see him Sunday afternoon against Vegas, right? Columbus, then
19:55Vegas. Yep. Columbus, Vegas. Uh, so Columbus tomorrow, that'll be UPL. I think Sunday barring
20:01shutout or something stupendous that we're not expecting or an early lion appearance. Right. I
20:08on Sunday, but, but we talked about this yesterday about where does lion pop in? Who, who does
20:15he get to replace? And it seems to me that yesterday was further indication that it is
20:21in Ellis. That's right. So I think he's earned his place to not be the one who gets bumped,
20:26but bottom line, uh, Ellis was very good last night. Still lost the game. Only gave up to
20:32say percentage was in like the nine 20 range, which is cool. 30, 30 shots, two goals. I think
20:38there's 28, 28 to 30, I believe is his final number. Um, so there's that phone lines are
20:43open. 803 05 50, uh, as we connect with the fans, courtesy of Northtown Kia. It's Western
20:49New York's number one Kia dealer shop online at NorthtownKia.com. One quick thing to note.
20:55I don't think this has been mentioned yet on the show today. Um, right around one 40, Joe
21:00Brady is scheduled to speak and we'll carry that live. So we'll rearrange things a little
21:04bit in the one o'clock hour to make sure we can get that to you. Uh, whenever he does
21:09hit the podium, we've got it covered. Um, all right, this is completely unrelated, but I'm
21:16taking this call anyway, cause the guy's been on hold for half an hour. Okay. Arlen, you're
21:20on WGR. What's up? Hey, thanks. So, I mean, just the segue for the savers. I mean, yeah, I,
21:27my, my, my remedy for that is to just not watch until they're above 500 because otherwise it's
21:34just, they're proven to me. They can't do it. But yeah, the reason I call is because we're
21:38talking about Paisley park earlier. Yes. And, uh, I wanted to bring up the fact that, uh,
21:45Prince actually did make a song specifically for the, uh, for his, uh, Vikings there. And
21:56it was made in January, 2010. The situation was that the, uh, the Vikings were hot, right? So
22:05they're playing into January and they beat the Cowboys 34 to three in January, 2010. And
22:13then later, January, 2010, within a couple of weeks, Prince made this song. Uh, I forget
22:18how it goes, but if you want to find it, it'd be super cool. I'm reading about it right now.
22:22Pop me up, Dan. Yeah. Pop me up. You got me hot. Am I heated up? Yeah. I'll hang up
22:31and
22:31listen, but I just wanted to share that. All right. Thank you. Brad's trying to do something
22:37over there. And I'm not sure what it is. Wow.
22:41The veil of the sky draws open. The rock would shine down.
22:58Come and walk on water.
23:13Prince has got some good songs. Did I take, and then he's got one called purple and gold
23:17written about the Vikings in 2010. Am I on acid right now? I don't know Jim. If this came
23:23with Jim, this came with a photo of Prince in the, like the back of a suite at a Vikings
23:29game. Everybody else is dressed for the game and then Prince is dressed like Prince at a football
23:35game. Um, yeah. All right. So the question that came up earlier is Prince is very much
23:41associated with purple and very much associated with Minneapolis and the Vikings are purple.
23:47That's right. And they're like purple people eaters. It's not just a color. It's like a
23:51thing. Purple, uh, Matthew collar, purple insiders. Purple is the thing. Yeah. And it never occurred
23:57to me that Prince being connected to purple might be connected to the Vikings being purple.
24:04And it turns out there he is in a suite with a song called purple and gold song. I'm just
24:10going to, and it's the first time I've heard it is terrible. Yeah. It was a terrible and
24:15it might've gotten good, but also the thing with Prince, you can't trust him from a lyrics
24:19standpoint to just, just wing it. Oh, let's see what Prince had to say and play that on the
24:24air. You can't do that. It's risky. So I've heard enough of that song to tell you, I don't
24:28think it's good. I bet it gets better, but that's that. I bet it gets better too. Moving
24:33on, moving on. Yeah. Moving on to a phone calls about stuff we're talking about. Let's
24:39go to, um, B in Hamburg. Hey B you're on WGR. Hey guys. Thanks for having me. Um, so I
24:46was
24:46at the game last night and yeah, I definitely did not notice Norris or McLeod except for when
24:51they were doing something wrong. Um, but another guy that I think has been grinding my gears
24:58lately is Josh don't. I mean, you give this guy a generational contract. You expect him
25:04to be that guy who's going to replace Alex talks, uh, you know, uh, production. Um, and,
25:12and I think, I think, uh, you know, I didn't expect much from Norris. I expected a little
25:17more from a cloud with how decent he played last year, but the guy that has been really
25:22invisible to me and, and, and honestly, very damaging is Josh stone because last year he
25:27had a great year. You expected every time he touched the puck, it was going to go to the
25:32offensive zone and it was going to at least end up off the crossbar this year. I, he looks
25:38a little, I don't know. He looks a little jittery. He looks a little scared. He's, he's got that
25:43pass first mentality. He's not shooting from those tough angles that, that he was having
25:48the success with last year. And I don't know if maybe it's a, it's a line scheme that's
25:53not working out for him or what it might be, but that's the guy that if you're going to
25:58pay and you're going to expect the longevity out of, you want to see that production and
26:03it makes that Alex tuck, you know, leaving the look a lot worse when you're banking on
26:09that guy to have the production and keeping Norris and McLeod at the, um, level that you're
26:16expecting from them as well. So you've got three, four words out of nine that just aren't
26:21producing what you thought they were. And I don't know how you deal with three out of
26:26the nine, you know, two out of the nine. Yeah. Send the guy to the press box. You know,
26:29you can go as far as send them down, but now you've got three out of the nine. I just
26:35want
26:35to kind of get your opinions on what you guys think about Josh stone as well.
26:39Yeah. Don't don't for me has been frustrating. I don't think I've seen as many things that
26:45are actively hurting the team as I have with McLeod, less so Norris. Norris hasn't done
26:50as many like dumb things as McLeod, but cloud's really annoying me. Uh, Norris is too, but I
26:57think there's different expectations for those two guys. I need Norris to produce. He's not
27:01only not doing that, but he's just not doing anything where McLeod I think is, I don't need
27:07to produce, but I need to not hurt me. And he's hurting me. Don't don't to me is really
27:13working. Like he's working real hard, but it's just not working for him. It feels to
27:19me like he is right now, just gripping the stick too tight. He's trying really hard and
27:26it's hurting him. And he's not in the same sort of flow state that I think helped him
27:32get to where he got to last year. I think a big part of his game is IQ and he's
27:36overthinking a
27:37little bit. I was at an event with him in the off season and he really struck me as I'm
27:43about to
27:43be a leader on this team. And that gives me an extra like modicum of patience with him. Um,
27:51you're right. Like I see, I see him working. I see it not working, but I see him working,
27:55but it's just not, I don't think superstar when I think of him, I think super solid soon to be
28:04veteran player. That is a big part of your chemistry and camaraderie and all that stuff. I think he's
28:09got a lot of the stuff that they lost in talk. Yes. Um, but he's the younger version and he's
28:14not
28:15the player that talk is at least yet. Um, but he gets a pass is the wrong word, but a
28:23longer leash
28:23from me than the other guys we're talking about. He's also, he's younger. He didn't last year was
28:29his first full year playing in the league really. And he was great. And you can often like there is
28:35a sophomore slump is a thing guys struggle. It, it, it, it kind of, you got to get your feet
28:41under
28:41you without the adrenaline of like, I'm in the NHL. Now I'm with my new team. Like now you are
28:47just
28:47an NHL player and you've got to just go to work every day. And that can be difficult as a,
28:52as a young
28:53kid. And I think that if there's anybody I have faith in that is frustrating, like of those three
28:59guys, Norris, McLeod, don't, I absolutely have the most faith in don't. All right. Back to Prince
29:05and his song, purple and gold, which is Vikings related. I'm reading the, uh, the sort of a
29:10paragraph written underneath the video and says the NFL regular season starts tonight, September 23.
29:15So let's listen to Prince's lone sports related song, purple and gold, a fight song. It's in quotes
29:20for the Minnesota Vikings. It was first available as an audio stream on the Vikings website.
29:24Photos used are from Prince attending a Vikings NFL home game. According to engineer James Harley,
29:29Prince wanted to do a queen like stadium anthem, much like we are the champions was recorded January
29:3417th, 2010 Paisley park studios in Minnesota. Um, he did all vocals and instruments except noted.
29:42There is a woman named Liv Warfield on background vocals. And then the comments underneath the first
29:47one is the only one I need to read. It says, uh, this is why everyone needs someone in their
29:52life
29:52who can tell them, nah, fam, this ain't it. Yeah. And then, uh, a little, right. Exactly. Like
29:58three comments down. It just says,
