00:00In Minnesota, it is not all sunshine and rainbows.

00:04They're 6-1, and people are upset, it seems.
00:08No, they are 1-6.
00:10That's the way it feels.
00:12You know, because you were saying on my show that for the Bills,
00:17this is like another football game,
00:18and people are excited to watch a Monday night football game.
00:22But, you know, if you lose the game, the expectations are the same.
00:26I mean, I'm sure people will be angry because it's a football game,
00:29but it's like, you know, January is when the season starts for the Buffalo Bills.
00:32This game is so enormous for the Minnesota Vikings in terms of the urgency,
00:39the tension in the building, how it feels,
00:42because if you lose this game and it goes really badly,
00:45it is going to feel like the wheels are coming completely off.
00:49And I know that seems strange when you're 6-1,
00:52but when you're 6-1 and you have basically the worst offense in the entire NFL,
00:57throwing the ball and running the ball,
00:59it doesn't really feel like 6-1 is going to turn into 13-4
01:04or turn into, you know, holding the Lombardi trophy at the end of the year.
01:09And, you know, Vikings fans have been through this a bunch of times.
01:12You go back to 2024, during the entire season, everyone's debating,
01:16are you really for real with Sam Darnold?
01:19When's he going to turn into a pumpkin?
01:20And then, you know, he did.
01:22And in 2022, they were a 13-win team.
01:25And you remember they beat the Bills and everyone said,
01:27oh, they're serious Super Bowl contenders now.
01:30And the next week they got blown out and they end up losing to Daniel Jones
01:33and the New York Giants in the first round.
01:35So, you know, there's the guy who did the Peanuts cartoon of Charlie Brown,
01:40you know, having the football pulled out.
01:42He's from Minnesota.
01:43So, like, this has happened many times that there has been these seasons
01:48where you get a hot stretch and everybody feels like, oh, it's going great,
01:52but there's always kind of an asterisk.
01:53And the offense playing this poorly, you're not going to find a team
01:57that had a lot of success.
01:58I mean, even the Denver Broncos for 2015 where Peyton Manning was throwing
02:02an interception every pass, I was looking that up yesterday.
02:04They were still top 20 in yards offensively.
02:07I mean, you just can't win with 260 yards per game.
02:11So, if they don't get turned around, they also play the Packers next,
02:15the 49ers next.
02:17Like, collapse feels like it's right around the corner.
02:20So, this is really a huge game for them to show that that's not what's going
02:24to happen this season.
