00:00So you can tell everybody, yeah you can tell everybody
00:05Christian Arcancho here at WEI, we're live in our Brighton studios and we are joined live in studio
00:10by one of the most recognizable residents of the Bay State maybe that there is
00:17who's not a politician or an athlete or something like that
00:20I'm talking of course about the Boston Be A Man guy who joins us here live in studio
00:23his first WEI appearance he just said
00:26Welcome my friend, thank you so much for coming in
00:29It's great to have you here
00:31Great to be here
00:31And I saw you a couple of times at Fenway Park
00:34I got you a couple of times up at Fenway
00:38You were there a lot this summer
00:39Yeah I was there about six or seven times
00:41Six or seven times, I was there more than that
00:43But I saw you a bunch and you know with what you do and the videos that you make
00:50You can't miss, you're this big guy, you look exactly the same
00:54You don't have filters going or anything like that
00:56You, I mean people flock to you when they see you in public
00:59Well I try to keep it authentic, I try to be authentic
01:02And you know what you see is what you get basically
01:05Absolutely, now I want to hear about first of all how it all started
01:08I know you grew up in the city
01:11And you had a regular job but you were doing improv stuff, right?
01:15Well no, I grew up in East Boston
01:17Right
01:18My brother and a couple other guys, we had some comedy stuff we were doing
01:21And then they started, you know, BMM was one of the things
01:24And then they started putting it out every day
01:26And it just took off
01:28Yeah
01:28It went on TikTok and they're like
01:31You get 20,000 followers on TikTok
01:33And I was like, I had no idea what it was
01:34I thought it was a watch or a clock
01:36I had no idea
01:37And then they were like, you have 100,000 followers on TikTok
01:41So I said, well, maybe I should stop paying attention
01:43So, and my daughters are saying, what are you doing?
01:46All our friends are following you
01:47What are you doing?
01:48I'm like, I don't know what I'm doing
01:49But it just kind of, just took off
01:51It was during COVID
01:52People are on their phones a lot
01:54And, you know, for whatever reason
01:56Other reasons, people seem to like it
01:58Now you guys started doing these things before COVID, though
02:00It was a few years before
02:01Yeah, it started on, like, 2017
02:04Was, I think, the first one we actually did
02:06What was it like when you put the first one out?
02:07Where you were like, no one's ever going to see this?
02:09What did you think about it?
02:09It was on, we were putting it out once a week
02:11And it wasn't on any platforms, really
02:13It was on a, kind of like a show we did
02:17It was on once a week
02:19And it was pretty popular
02:20People liked it
02:21People were starting to recognize me a little bit
02:22Like at the mall and stuff like that
02:24And, you know, I just never had the initiative of, you know
02:29Know all, what to do to bring it further
02:31But that's where my partner came in
02:33So, your brother's part of it
02:34And is that the partner you're talking about?
02:36No, my brother, Joe
02:37I don't know if you met Joe before
02:39Was he in the booth?
02:40No, that was my brother
02:41Okay, I met him
02:43Yeah, you met him
02:43And I could tell it was your brother
02:44You guys look like brothers
02:45Yeah, yeah
02:46All right, so you had a partner who basically said
02:49Hey, you know, this character and this, you know, bit
02:53Yeah
02:53Is something that we can do a lot of
02:55I mean, we can really take this thing a lot of places
02:58Did you believe him at first?
03:00Or were you just like, sure, whatever?
03:01They wanted something 30 seconds or less
03:04And they had 30 people go up in 30 days with something
03:06So, this is what I came up with
03:08And, you know, they added music
03:10And then said be a man at the end
03:14And, you know, it just kind of evolved into what it is slowly
03:18If you see some of the early ones
03:19They have like no hat on
03:21Right
03:21Stupid looking hat or whatever
03:23You know, audio's bad
03:24The video's kind of bad
03:25And, you know, it's gotten better over the years
03:27So, most of them it's just the setup
03:30And then you pop up at the end
03:31You say be a man
03:32Everybody laughs
03:32I go on every day
03:34So, we have
03:35All right, I think we put out maybe 2,000 of them
03:38And we have about 4,000 in the bank
03:40Really?
03:41So, if I get hit by a bus tomorrow
03:43I'll be around to put out one a day for 10 years
03:45You're still stuck with me
03:46You'll be like Tupac
03:47He's putting down music 20 years later
03:50That's awesome
03:50So, that's cool
03:51You got a whole bunch of them banked
03:52What's the writing process for them?
03:54I write it down on the peak
03:55Well, now I smartened up
03:56I'm putting it on my phone
03:57There you go
03:58You know, there's a thing called files on notes I'm using
04:00Yeah
04:01Yeah, so I'm putting it on my phone
04:03And, you know, it's easier
04:06Before, I was just like writing them out
04:07On a regular 8, 8 1⁄2 by 11 piece of paper
04:10And just going in and recording 30 or 40 at a time
04:13How do you like being famous?
04:15Yeah, I mean, it is what it is
04:17I mean, you know, to be honest with you
04:19If I wasn't doing this
04:20And there was some guy named Tom
04:23And it would be a man that had, you know
04:24I don't know, we got like 12 million followers
04:26It wouldn't mean anything to me
04:28You know, but
04:29Because I'm older
04:30Right
04:30You know, so
04:31But yeah, it's, you know
04:32It is what it is
04:33It's not bad
04:34It's fun
04:34You have more than one kid or just the one?
04:38No, I have a couple of kids
04:39You have a couple of kids
04:40Yeah
04:41Obviously, I'd imagine they're on TikTok
04:42I would imagine this is something that they
04:44Oh, yeah
04:45What's an old-a-day sort of play in the ascension of this
04:48And you sort of understanding how impactful it could be
04:50Well, they helped a lot behind the scenes
04:52But the biggest force was probably like my father
04:55Because he grew up in the city
04:57He was an orphan
04:57He was an orphan by the time he was six
04:59His parents were from Italy
05:01He was brought up by his older siblings
05:04And then he fought in World War II
05:06Over in Japan and the Philippines
05:08And then he was a mailman
05:11So very angry
05:12For a lot of reasons
05:13And, you know, but he was funny
05:15Without trying to be funny
05:17And, you know, he wasn't prejudiced
05:18But he said a lot of things that weren't PC
05:20You know, not realizing it
05:22But that's that generation
05:23Yeah
05:23But, you know, a lot of his sayings and stuff
05:26And his attitude and, you know
05:28Plus his brothers were guys that were on the bar
05:31And were like loan sharks and bookies and stuff
05:34And I basically grew up in the bar
05:35So learned a lot of life lessons there
05:38You know what?
05:38My father owned the bar
05:39I grew up in a bar too
05:40Yeah, right?
05:41Yeah
05:41It's fun growing up in a bar
05:42Yeah, you see life, right?
05:43Yeah
05:43And everything there was a little
05:45I was sitting
05:45I'd be sitting on the bar
05:46With my legs dangling
05:47Drinking a Coke
05:48Seeing, like, people pull out guns and stuff
05:50You know, it's crazy
05:51Yeah
05:52So tell me a little bit about your background
05:54Obviously growing up in East Boston
05:56Your father was kind of an angry guy
05:58But a lovable angry guy
05:59Yeah
05:59So I was like
06:00Is that sort of
06:01He couldn't help it
06:01You model this
06:03Well, yeah
06:04It's just like
06:04A lot of the sayings and stuff he had
06:07His mannerisms, you know
06:09Okay
06:09And it kind of
06:10It trickled down to me and my brothers
06:11You know
06:12And, you know
06:14Obviously his brothers
06:15His brothers too
06:16They were crazy
06:17They had a lot to do with our upbringing
06:19I'm sure
06:20Yeah
06:20I actually wrote a script
06:22Really?
06:22Yeah
06:23About the
06:24It's called the American House
06:25It's where the bar they own
06:26So I don't know what's going to happen with it
06:29And, like, period piece?
06:31It's like era-specific?
06:32Yeah
06:32From, like, the 60s, 70s?
06:34John Fiori
06:35Who was in the Sopranos
06:36He's going to play one of my uncles
06:37Really?
06:38Yeah
06:38That's awesome
06:39We did a podcast together for two or three years
06:42We did 140 episodes
06:43Okay
06:43To be a man experience
06:45Yeah
06:45So he's a good guy
06:46Good friend of mine
06:47Yeah
06:47I've seen John around
06:48Yeah
06:48He's the best
06:50He's not hurting for work
06:52He's in a ton of movies
06:53Yeah
06:53Yeah
06:53So are you
06:54I mean, you're writing a script, obviously
06:56I'm sure you've been approached about
06:58Doing various things
06:59Where do you want to take this?
07:01Well, we have a book
07:02That came out, like, four years ago
07:03Be a Man, the Ultimate Guide
07:06Which was nice
07:06Somebody approached us
07:07And we get that done
07:09It's kind of been in the vault
07:11The whole script thing for now
07:12I don't know what we're going to do with it
07:13Okay
07:13We have a lot of stuff going on
07:17Internally now
07:17You know, trying to keep up
07:18With what we have going on
07:20And, you know
07:21We have a studio
07:22Uh-huh
07:22And, you know
07:24We have a lot of deals in the works
07:25And we got a big announcement
07:27That I can't talk about yet
07:28Oh, yeah
07:29Okay
07:29No, not that thing you think
07:31It's a company we're going to have part of
07:33Well, can I talk about that thing right now?
07:34Yeah, you can talk about it
07:35So, as many of you know
07:37I didn't want to participate in this
07:39Because I figured they weren't looking for a voice like mine
07:40However
07:41We're looking for a voice like yours
07:43At Logan Airport
07:44The voice of Logan Airport
07:45Welcoming everybody to Boston
07:47With that script that they had there
07:48Uh, you were someone that
07:51I mean, I think a lot of people think of
07:53When they think of Boston online
07:54You're a huge presence
07:55Uh, you have a good accent
07:57I think is what they were definitely looking for
07:59Which is why I didn't even bother
08:00Uh, but yeah
08:01You've got the accent for it
08:02You've got the look, obviously
08:03You've got the delivery
08:04And, uh, you sent me your audition
08:06Uh-huh
08:07For the Logan thing
08:07And here it is right now
08:08Oh, okay
08:08You got it?
08:09Beautiful
08:09Welcome to Boston Logan International Airport
08:12Front door to the capital of heart
08:14Hustle and hometown pride
08:16This city runs on iced coffee
08:18Raw ambition
08:19An unbeatable team spirit
08:21So let's go
08:22Whether you're grabbing a lobster roll by the harbor
08:25Waiting in line for a cannoli in the north end
08:28Head out to Gloucester for a little salt air
08:30I'm paying you respects for the green monster
08:33Like it's a sacred landmark
08:34Because it is
08:36We're wicked glad you're here
08:39Not bad
08:39Not bad
08:40Bravo, sir
08:41Bravo
08:41Can we get a little applause for our guest here?
08:43Thank you very much
08:43Well done
08:44Yeah, well, what happened was
08:46I saw that online
08:47I saw people doing it
08:48So when I was doing my cameos
08:50We do cameos a couple times a week
08:53You must do well with those
08:54Yeah, we did
08:55Let me see
08:56I was just in there
08:58Today's Wednesday, right?
08:59Yes
08:59So Tuesday
09:00I was in there
09:00We did like 38 of them
09:02You get about 38 requests a day?
09:04No
09:04No, I wish
09:05But, you know, I go in once or twice a week
09:07And, you know, we let them accumulate
09:09And I'll go in and do them
09:10That was another big COVID thing
09:12Cameo
09:13Cameo really blew up around COVID
09:14Yeah, that was a godsend for us
09:16Yeah
09:17So do you think that
09:18Because COVID was really when the whole thing took off
09:21Do you think that you sort of just
09:23By doing the bit
09:25And sort of having the character out there
09:27Kind of filled a void that people had at that time
09:29When they couldn't go out and be around others?
09:31Everyone was on their phones
09:32Nobody was
09:33I mean, I drove from like Gloucester, Bastown
09:37128 to Saugus once, right?
09:41And I didn't see one car coming north
09:43You know, and this was like during rush hour
09:45So people are home on their phones
09:47But, yeah, it was like a perfect storm
09:49It was a combination of, you know, COVID
09:52People being at home
09:54You know, TikTok exploding
09:55And it was just a combination
09:57Yeah
09:57You know, plus the
10:00You know, the guys at the studio
10:02They do a good job with, you know, making it look good
10:04Making me look good, trying to make me look as good as I can
10:08But, yeah, it was just a perfect storm
10:10It was like how I like to explain it
10:11Which one do you think is the funniest one that you've done?
10:14I can't say it
10:14Can I swear on this?
10:16You cannot
10:17Okay, no
10:18All right, you can tell me out there
10:20I'll give you one
10:21All right
10:22A very popular one
10:24I got to pick a one that doesn't have a swear
10:26All right, well, let's take a break here
10:27No, okay
10:28And we can come back on the other side
10:29I do want to ask you more about that
10:31And some other things as well
10:32Be a man guy
10:33Harmon in the house here
10:34We're going to keep him around for another segment
10:35Before we cut him loose
10:36Don't go anywhere
10:37It's the Christian Arcand Show here on WEI
10:39By Harmon, a.k.a.
10:41The Boston Be a Man Guy
10:43And unfortunate runner-up for the Logan Airport job
10:45Didn't get it, huh?
10:47No, they're down
10:47They've pared it down to eight
10:49And what I understand is
10:51My partner knows someone who works for Massport
10:53We were in consideration
10:54You know, they talked about us
10:56We were maybe in the top 25 somewhere
10:58Okay
10:58And they cut us
11:00Big mistake, I think
11:01Be a sore loser
11:02Be a man
11:04I don't
11:05There's some good
11:06I saw all the other candidates
11:07And they're pretty good
11:08They are
11:09That's good
11:09Being a sore loser
11:10A couple of them were good, yeah
11:11Sure
11:11Now, on the topic of your content
11:15And sort of the things that you say
11:17And the message that you sort of give
11:19I think most people get it
11:21I don't think most people are
11:22You know, get so wrapped up in it
11:24And take it very literally and all that
11:26It's fun and it's quick
11:27And it's, you know, it's a great
11:28It's a great bit that you do, obviously
11:29Yeah
11:30But there are people who do get offended by it, right?
11:32I mean, would you say that you used to piss some people off now and then?
11:35Yeah, I mean, a lot of women don't know how to take it
11:37I make fun of everybody
11:38I make fun of myself
11:39You know, guys
11:40Oh, yeah
11:41Girls
11:41You know, everybody
11:42Everything
11:44So, it's all fun
11:45You know, it's make-believe
11:47It's real, really
11:49This is the real me
11:49Right
11:50But it's not, you know, it's not out there to hurt anybody
11:52It's make people laugh
11:53So, you don't
11:54Like, I was just telling you
11:55You don't make, like, mean videos
11:56No
11:57You'll maybe have, like, an off-color joke here and there or something
11:59Yeah
11:59Or you'll say, do something ridiculous
12:01You know, like, that
12:03I'm sure is not something you do every day
12:05You know, like, it's just these type of things that are funny and work
12:08And they always seem to land, you know
12:10Like, I look at your videos
12:12I scroll through them
12:13They always get the same amount of likes
12:14There's rarely ever anybody being like, oh, this one sucked
12:17You know, like, it's just
12:18It's always very positive
12:19People seem to like them
12:20Well, you know, that's very fortunate
12:23And I'm grateful and thankful that people like it
12:25It means we're doing our job
12:26Yeah, no question
12:27Now, I was wondering
12:28Last night, obviously, in the country
12:30It was a big election
12:32Big blue tsunami
12:33And you just sort of mentioned that, you know
12:35When people think of you
12:36I think they probably project a lot of things onto you
12:39Is that fair to say?
12:40Like, your fans
12:41Millions and millions of fans
12:42They probably project onto you
12:44Political leanings
12:45Opinions on all sorts of stuff
12:47Right?
12:47What's that like?
12:48Don't vote BMN
12:51Yeah, I mean, obviously
12:52You know, it's mostly male
12:54You know
12:54A lot of toxic masculinity going on
12:57Right
12:57And a demographic of guys
12:59Like 25 to 54
13:02First responders
13:03Military
13:03You know, a lot of athletes
13:05And a lot of girls like it, too
13:07Yeah
13:08You know, a lot of girls
13:09The crazy girls
13:11People with a sense of humor
13:12I think in general
13:12Are the ones who will get it
13:13I mean, let me tell you something
13:14Like, we were approached by both sides
13:16Of the governor's race
13:18To put ads on
13:20Really?
13:20To get paid to do it
13:21We didn't do it because
13:23We're in the middle of everything
13:24And I'm not really a political guy
13:25You know, I'm kind of in the middle
13:27Of everything, too
13:28Should have taken both their money
13:29Yeah
13:29Be a man
13:30Don't be a scumbag
13:31You know?
13:32But
13:34Yeah, whoever
13:35You can buy me off
13:37No matter what
13:37Yeah
13:38But I like
13:39You know, I'm flattered
13:40They both follow us
13:41Yes
13:42And I think they're both pretty cool
13:44Yeah
13:44In their own way
13:45Absolutely
13:45Now, what's the
13:46What's the craziest fan interaction
13:48That you've had
13:48That you can talk about on the radio?
13:51Fan
13:52Well, I was
13:54I was
13:54Because people bother you out in public
13:56All the time, right?
13:57You tell me
13:57Like, people see you
13:58And they just start talking to you
14:00They feel like they know you
14:01Which is fine
14:02Which is fine
14:02Right
14:03You know, and I try to be classy
14:04And take pictures
14:05You know, what everybody wants
14:06Right
14:06You know, sometimes
14:07I've seen some of those classy pictures you take
14:09Yeah
14:09I guess
14:11I was dating a stripper
14:12Nice
14:13If you want
14:13Who was a fan
14:14Mm-hmm
14:15And she stabbed me, actually
14:17Yeah
14:18See right there
14:18Let me see
14:19Oh, yeah
14:20Yeah
14:20With a knife?
14:22Yeah
14:22A broken beer bottle or what?
14:23No, it was a knife
14:24What'd you do?
14:24Back
14:25I didn't turn her in
14:26You know
14:27No, I'm saying
14:28What'd you do to make her stab you?
14:29She got jealous
14:30I mean, you know
14:31I mean
14:32She's
14:33They're all kind of crazy
14:34I don't want to say all girls are crazy
14:37People I deal with
14:38Including myself are crazy
14:39Uh-huh
14:39My family, my friends
14:40The people I deal with
14:41And crazy attracts crazy
14:42Yeah, yeah
14:43It's all good
14:43It's not boring
14:44Right
14:45Yeah
14:45You'd rather be with a crazy person
14:47Than, you know
14:48Simple, quiet, boring life
14:50With a boring person
14:50Yeah
14:50Right
14:51Yeah, so I
14:51You know
14:52It just
14:52It was fortunate
14:53I didn't get stabbed
14:55In a carotid
14:56Yeah, definitely
14:57I'd say that's a fortunate thing
14:58Uh, now you are in your 60s
15:00Like our guy Greg Hill
15:01Is that correct?
15:02Yeah
15:02Am I allowed to say that?
15:03Okay
15:03Uh, how is your celebrity
15:06How's that been for your love life?
15:09Yeah, it's, um
15:09I usually
15:11Aside from getting stabbed by strippers, obviously
15:12Yeah, I usually
15:13Don't go out with white girls
15:15Because
15:15Uh-huh
15:16If you go out with a girl
15:16That doesn't speak English
15:17There's less to argue about
15:18That's a good point
15:19You know
15:20Yeah
15:20But I
15:21Some white girls don't speak English
15:22No, I'm only phoned
15:23Um, no, it's
15:24I get, you know
15:25Girls troll themselves at me
15:27And, um
15:28They don't even let me
15:29Look at the
15:31The main Instagram account
15:32Really?
15:33Because there's so many pictures
15:34Getting sent in and stuff
15:35Ah
15:35Yeah
15:36So they have like what
15:37You don't let them
15:38Or they have their
15:39No, no
15:39My partners
15:40I see
15:41I don't have access to it
15:42I don't want access to it
15:43They're afraid I might
15:44Do something to screw it up
15:46If you were controlling
15:47Your own account, you say
15:49Well, on that
15:49So they do it
15:50Yeah, all the DMs
15:51So they get all the DMs
15:52And they deal with that
15:53You have like a team
15:54Dealing with all the women
15:55Who message you
15:55Yeah
15:56Wow
15:56Well, yeah
15:57I just don't see it
15:58I don't want to see it either
15:59Yes, you do
16:00Yeah, but yeah
16:00You don't want to see
16:01Women on the internet
16:02Saying that they like
16:03Come on, everybody
16:04Every man wants to see that
16:05I mean, there's a lot of DMs
16:06And pictures that get sent
16:07I'm sure
16:08Yeah
16:08And I don't
16:09Actually, I have no idea
16:10It's never happened to me before
16:11What?
16:12It happens to you a lot
16:12You're a good looking guy
16:13Oh, thanks
16:15Appreciate that
16:15But you know what I mean
16:16Like you
16:17You get to a point
16:18Where you have so many fans
16:20And so many people
16:20That, you know
16:21It's like
16:22A lot of averages
16:23Right
16:23And you're out and around too
16:25It's not like you're a recluse
16:27Who's never out meeting people
16:28You're out
16:29You're a man about town
16:30Yeah, I just met a couple
16:31Of nice girls
16:31Going to
16:33Someone branch
16:34Michelle branch
16:35Michelle branch
16:36Is that a singer?
16:37Yeah, is Michelle branch
16:38A thousand
16:39Might's that song
16:40Shyam's always singing, right?
16:41Yeah, I think it's that one
16:42Yeah, they're going to that
16:44Okay
16:44You know, I meet
16:46Guys and girls
16:47You should go there too
16:48Yeah
16:48Go to the Michelle branch show
16:50Be a man
16:52I don't think you would
16:52Actually, I don't know
16:53Can we get a little
16:54Michelle branch
16:54Let's see if
16:55This is good
16:56Be a man music or not
16:56What kind of music
16:57Do you like?
16:58Hard rock
16:59Hard rock
16:59Yeah, I like Zeppelin
17:01And The Who
17:01And, you know
17:02Linkin Park
17:04Fans like that
17:04You ever hang out
17:05With the Seager bar guy
17:06You know him?
17:06Yeah, I know him
17:07Yeah
17:08He's another guy
17:09We've had on the show before
17:09It's like his thing
17:10He's just all classic rock
17:12Yeah, he's a good kid
17:12Yeah
17:13I see him around a lot of
17:14I saw him a couple weeks ago
17:15At the Boston
17:16Spitting Chickles thing
17:17Oh yeah, right
17:18He was a good kid
17:19There's a little Michelle branch
17:20For you
17:21There'd be some girls there
17:24I mean, it's pretty good
17:26No?
17:27Could the slow dance do
17:28Yeah
17:29Could be
17:30I don't remember this one
17:31What's this one called?
17:32Oh, is this your everywhere to me?
17:33This is called everywhere
17:34Yeah, I remember this
17:34When this song gets going
17:36It's not bad
17:36You can turn it off
17:38Yeah
17:38Has she been around a while?
17:40Yeah
17:41A while
17:4210, 15 years
17:43So that song
17:44Is, I'd say
17:44At least 10 years old
17:45Yeah, I took my daughter's
17:47All the concerts back in the day
17:48Mm-hmm
17:49You know
17:50Which ones
17:52Which, like, when you
17:53When you sort of became a parent
17:56And you had to
17:57You had to phase out
17:59Of, like, the music you liked
18:00And then it all became about
18:01The music that your kids liked
18:02I'm struggling with that as a father
18:04I'm having
18:05Yeah, I mean
18:05My son's really into trains
18:06And train songs
18:07How do you
18:08As a dad
18:08How do you deal with that?
18:09Well, whatever they wanted to see
18:10Like, if they wanted to go
18:11With their friends or whatever
18:12If there was a group of parents
18:13Taking their kids
18:14You know, I'd go
18:15I'd take them
18:16You gotta just go, huh?
18:17You gotta just do it
18:17Yeah
18:18You know, I remember
18:19Avril Lavigne
18:20Yeah
18:20Was very good
18:21And she was great in concert
18:22Very talented
18:23Avril Lavigne
18:23There's a theory that she died
18:25And they replaced her
18:26With, like, a stand-in
18:27I don't know if I believe it
18:28But there is a theory
18:29There's a conspiracy theory
18:30Who she did?
18:30She married
18:31A date of somebody famous, right?
18:32The guy from some 41
18:34Or one of the
18:35No, Good Charlotte
18:36The guy from Good Charlotte
18:37Some Canadian singer
18:38From, like, one of those
18:392000 poppers
18:40She was excellent
18:41I remember Hilary Duff
18:42Right?
18:43Yeah
18:43Remember her
18:44And her sister was a singer, too?
18:46Haley Duff, yeah
18:47Haley Duff, yeah
18:48Right, right, right
18:49Yeah
18:49She was in Napoleon Dynamite, too
18:51Haley Duff
18:51She was, like, the hot
18:52Blonde cheerleader
18:53Great movie
18:54In that movie, yeah
18:55For sure
18:55So, do you
18:56Someday
18:57You have your eyes set
18:58On Hollywood
18:58I mean, obviously
18:59You've got the script going
19:00But you have a look
19:02You have a whole persona
19:04That I think you could
19:06Probably take that far
19:07If you wanted to
19:07I personally don't want to do it
19:09I mean, my partner told me
19:11You know, maybe we could
19:12Do something like that
19:12His big thing was
19:14If you can learn to do stand-up
19:16For, like, 30 minutes
19:18We'll be millionaires
19:19I said, it's not gonna happen
19:20No desire
19:21Plus I have a small brain
19:22You never tried it before?
19:24No, no
19:24You never even done, like, an open mic?
19:26No, I mean, we did shows
19:28We sold out the world before
19:29And we've done a lot of shows
19:31But there's a bunch of comedians
19:33That are out there doing sets
19:35I can't do it
19:36I just
19:36It's not me
19:37You know
19:37It's not in me
19:38It's, well, you know
19:39If it isn't, it isn't
19:40You should know that about yourself
19:41I know, like, Billy Tibbetts
19:43You know Billy Tibbetts?
19:44Oh, yeah
19:44He's had a bunch of shows
19:45And he's doing stand-up
19:46Like, 20 minutes
19:47And God bless him
19:49I can't
19:49I can't do it
19:50I have no desire to do it
19:52I don't think
19:52I never tried to do it
19:53I don't want to try
19:54What stand-ups do you like?
19:55Who do you like?
19:56I like Shane Gillis
19:57Yeah?
19:58Yeah
19:58He's a buddy
19:59Mark Norman
20:00Norman?
20:01I love Mark Norman
20:01Yeah, he's really good
20:02And the guy
20:03He's always with
20:04Sam, what's his name?
20:06The Reds Talent?
20:07No, the guy from New York
20:08The big Knicks fan
20:09Who has a voice like this
20:10And he's always with Mark Norman
20:11Sam Morrill
20:12Sam Morrill
20:13Sam Morrill
20:13Yeah, yeah, yeah
20:14He's real funny
20:15I like him a lot
20:15I'm actually going to be
20:17A Laugh Boston Sunday night
20:18With Little Mo Mozzarella
20:19You know Little Mo?
20:20Little Mo Mo Mozzarella
20:21He's always saying
20:22How you doing?
20:24I should know that
20:24He's got like a million followers
20:26On Instagram
20:26Little Mo Mo Mozzarella
20:27Local guy?
20:28No, he's from New York
20:29Little Mo Mo Mozzarella
20:30I'll probably get on stage
20:31And say a couple of BMMs
20:33On Sunday night
20:33I've seen this guy before
20:34Yeah
20:35Yeah, yeah
20:35I've seen this guy before
20:36He's a Laugh Boston
20:36Big New York guy
20:37Yeah, yeah, yeah
20:38Okay
20:38I know who you're talking about
20:39Yeah, he's got a show
20:39I think there's some tickets left
20:41If anybody wants to
20:42At Laugh Boston
20:42Yeah
20:43Alright, very cool
20:44Alright, so
20:45Before we let you go here
20:46I saw you at Fenway Park
20:48This is a sports show
20:49Do you have any
20:50Hot sports takes for us?
20:51Anything that's on your mind
20:52About the Patriots
20:53The Celtics
20:53What's your favorite team
20:54By the way?
20:55I'd say probably
20:56Like the Bruins and the Patriots
20:57Grew up on Bruins and Patriots
20:59Yeah
20:59Red Sox too, obviously
21:01I'm not a big basketball guy
21:02I can't understand
21:03Why the rest of these guys
21:04Are making 50 million a year
21:05Like George was out yesterday
21:07Tatum's out tonight
21:08Me personally
21:11I don't know why they do it
21:12Why they pay him that much?
21:13No, well that
21:14Because we're capitalists
21:15And that's what the market will bear
21:16Well, God bless them
21:16For getting the money
21:17I'm just saying
21:18They're sitting him down
21:19That's true
21:19You know
21:20Notate him tonight
21:21He's not playing this game right now
21:22No, notate him
21:23But yeah, I mean
21:24I think the Bruins look good
21:25They're a pretty well-balanced team
21:26The Patriots I think will be okay
21:28I love Vrabel
21:29You know, I love how he rebounded
21:30From his stuff
21:31And, you know, he's a great leader
21:33Do you see Rossini's
21:34Going back to work next week?
21:36Is he really?
21:36There's an announcement
21:38Florio reported
21:38That Rossini's telling everybody
21:39She's back to work next week
21:41I'm not saying what happened
21:42Or what didn't happen
21:42But every guy's an animal and a pig
21:44And 90% of the
21:46How many guys do you know
21:47That got caught in that situation?
21:49In that particular one?
21:50Not a few, actually
21:51Not with her
21:52So, you know
21:53It's real life
21:54You know
21:54He did what he did or didn't do
21:56And he got out of it great
21:58And I'm a big fan of his
21:59And wish him the best
22:00Most guys don't have the paparazzi
22:01Chasing him around like that
22:03Yeah, right
22:03With pictures from 10 years
22:05Yeah
22:05They're pregnant on the boat
22:07And all that
22:07I mean, like
22:08That's unusual
22:09But you're right
22:09I mean, it is not something that's
22:11Yeah, so it's
22:12You know, it's real life
22:12Red Sox, I think, will be okay
22:14If we have a season next year
22:16I don't know
22:16I mean
22:16I don't know what your take is on that
22:18I don't think we
22:19I mean, we're not going to start it on time
22:21It's horrible
22:21It sucks, man
22:22Yeah
22:22You know how much fun I had this past summer
22:24Being at the park every day
22:25It was great
22:25I loved it
22:26Yeah, it's like being in a playground
22:27Yeah
22:28Yeah, I get to look out
22:29At all the drunks every night
22:30You know, everybody wandering around
22:32While I'm doing my post-game show
22:33It was terrific
22:33I loved it
22:34The Scots were all singing to me
22:35Oh, God
22:36It was the best
22:36I got to meet you
22:37You know, it's great
22:38It opens all the doors
22:39They've got to have a season
22:40That's right
22:40What's going to happen to our social lives otherwise?
22:43It'll be a long, hot summer
22:44I know
22:45All right, well, listen, man
22:46It was great to have you in here
22:47Thanks so much for coming in
22:48Thank you
22:49And yeah, we'll talk again soon
22:50And maybe I'll see you at the garden
22:52Yeah, I'll be in touch
22:52We've got to have a beer
22:54That beer we never had yet
22:55I know, I agree
22:56All right, hey, take care
22:57Have fun at Michelle Branch
22:58And maybe we'll see you afterwards
22:59I'll see if I can get that girl's number
23:00All right, very good
23:01Harvin, the Boston BMA guy
23:03Joining us here live in studio
23:05Very, very cool
